Winner of the GA Bunko Award for Excellence, "Hikikomari Vampire Princess in Agony" will be adapted into a TV anime. The teaser PV, characters, and cast comments have been released.

The original work (written by Kosoko Kobayashi, illustrated by Riichu) is a comical fantasy that won the 11th GA Bunko Award for Excellence, and the TV anime is scheduled to air in 2023. Project No. 9, which includes "Weak Character Tomozaki-kun," is in charge of animation production.

Terakomari, aka "Komari," a professional shut-in who never leaves her room, wakes up to find that she has been selected as a general of the empire - and is leading a rough-and-tumble unit where subversion is rampant!

Although born into a prestigious vampire family, Komari has a dislike of blood and is "athletically inept," "small in stature," and "incapable of using magic. ...... If her subordinates find out that she is weak, she will immediately be overthrown! The film depicts the rapid progress of Komari, who, along with her maid Ville, relies on bluff and luck to push forward.

Such "Terakomari Gandesblood" is played by Tomori Kusunoki. The role of "Vilhayes," the maid who supports Komari in both her private and public life, will be played by Sayumi Suzushiro, and the role of "Karen Elvesias," the emperor of the Murnite Empire, where Komari and her friends live, will be played by Yoko Hikasa.
