[Plastic model review] I tried to recreate a famous scene from the anime with the "Figure-rise Standard Miorine Rembrandt" plastic model of "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury"!

In this edition of YU-GO's Character Modeling LABO, we review Bandai Spirits' Figure-rise Standard Miorine Rembrandt!

Mobile Suit Gundam: Witches of Mercury" has finally reached the final episode of the first cool! Many fans may already be anxiously awaiting the development of the second cool.

Miorine, Sletta's partner and the other main character of the story, has been a character that we could not take our eyes off from the beginning to see what she would do next, such as trying to escape to space with only her body and suddenly starting up "Gundam Co. She is a winsome young lady, but she is also a lonely girl, and when she shows her emotions, she shows them to the fullest, being true to herself. Miorine, a character with such a mysterious charm, has been made into a plastic model following Sletta, so I immediately started building her!

The box art looks like this.

Like Sletta, the packaging is tastefully designed to match the world of the "Witches of Mercury".

The inside of the box looks like this. The number of parts is small, giving the impression that it can be assembled without stress.

Miorine's hairstyle is divided like this.

Like Sletta, one tampo printed face part is also included here.

These are water-transfer decals and two exclusive face parts. By combining these parts, various facial expressions of Miorine can be reproduced.

The kit comes with a shovel and a pot that Miorine uses in the movie. The design is also faithfully reproduced.

I assembled it right away. Miorine's winning mood is well reproduced. The uniform of Astycasia Technical College is also well reproduced.

Her facial expressions are also well reproduced.

The head can be assembled like a puzzle, but be careful because there are many fragile and sharp parts.

This quality is achieved just by assembling it in a normal way.

Again, I would like to proceed with the "easy finish that can be done in a day".

It looks like this when you hold a shovel and a jaw. You can use them to recreate the scene.

Gate marks will be carefully processed one by one. For curved parts, sponge files (e.g., Kamijasu) are effective.

For the face part (A32), shave a little off the part painted in red to make it easier to attach and detach the face part. (Editor's note: Modification is done at your own risk!)

The edge treatment of the cloth part is no longer a standard craft, but it can be thinned with a design knife, Fantec's "Carbide Scraper" or God Hand's "Kami Yasu".

The image of this process is like a blade being set up and then scraped with a plane. The author's crafting time was about 30 minutes. Please try it! Try it!

The thigh parts have noticeable joints, so glue them and file them down.

The hair should also be sharp.

Airbrush the inside of the sleeves of the jacket with a red color slightly darker than the basic color. Even if some of the color sticks out, it can be removed with a sponge file or melamine sponge.

I put neodymium magnets in the boots. The inside of the boot is shaved to secure the clearance. How to use it will be a fun later.

The head has a prominent split line, so it was glued here as well.

I used a mixture of Kreos HG powder and Alteko's strong instant adhesive CA-07 to fill in the putty. I recommend it because it has good bite and is easy to sharpen! (Editor: Regarding this area of crafting, some people say, "I don't know how to do it! It looks so difficult! (Editor: We would like to plan a lecture article on this area, so please feel free to give us your opinions!)

The final fun and finishing touch, makeup, is done using cosmetic products actually used for makeup. Pastels will be ground into powder with sandpaper, and makeup will be applied with repair sticks. Apply the color to the corners of the eyes as if you were applying rouge.

Miorine Rembrandt" is completed! As a finishing touch, the entire surface is sprayed with GSI Creos' "Water-based Premium Topcoat Glossy Spray".

It gives the figure a somewhat sad atmosphere.

The shovel that appears in the play. The shovel appears in the play, "I'm an accessory of the company? You've got to be kidding me!"

I also painted the shovel and the jar after checking the settings and the film. It will look better if you pay attention to these small items as well. (The color recipe is Cleos Sky Blue + White for the jaw. The shovel itself is Creos neutral gray + black, and the handle is neutral gray + white.)

From episode 9, "If I could take one more step toward you. The unripe green tomatoes were so impressive that I made my own out of clay (grey-sculpey).
You're an idiot...... now."

I made the base with the image of the opening using a photo frame purchased at a hundred dollar store.

I printed out the blue sky of the main story and inserted it in the base. A neodymium magnet is placed underneath so it can stand on one leg.

Oma-Kei*.

Ever since I watched episode 11 "The Witch of the Earth" on-air, I thought, "I want to reproduce this! so I did it.

I used a photo frame, colored drawing paper, and LED cable light from a hundred-yen store.

I made a hole in the black colored paper and decorated it with a simple light that shines from the back with LEDs.

Stay with me!
Yes, I'm here. ......

How was it? The theme of this time was supposed to be "easy to finish in one day," but the excitement of the story of "The Witch of Mercury" led me to add one thing after another to my "list of things I want to do when I get the kit," so I ended up with a lot of contents. When a work is fascinating, you are moved by various episodes, and it is quite fun to recreate memorable scenes with a little ingenuity + α using the kit as material. I am sure that many of you have picked up plastic models because of "The Witch of Mercury," and I hope that this article will be a reference for your free imagination using plastic models,
