Producer Yoshiyuki Ikezawa had wanted to use "Pegasus Fantasy" as the theme song for the film from the very beginning of the project. I don't know if it was coincidence or inevitability that the gods of the film brought us together, but I offered them the song because I thought they were the only ones who could do it! The Struts have been attracting attention in Japan as well as the world's rock fans with their vocals that are said to be the second coming of Freddie Mercury of Queen, their spectacular, hot, and fun live performances that involve all audiences, and their catchy songs that unite the audience. The Struts have been attracting attention in Japan as well. Their beats, which have created classic songs that excite anime fans around the world with their singing, make the high-quality 3D computer graphics of Seiya and his friends' battles even more dynamic.
The legendary saints will make new history all over the world on Netflix!

The following is a comment from Yoshiyuki Ikezawa, producer of the film.

Producer Yoshiyuki Ikezawa's comment
From the very beginning, we wanted to go with "Pegasus Fantasy" for the theme song of "Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac. However, since it is an English-based work, I wanted the theme song to be in English as well, so that it could spread around the world at the same time, and I wanted someone who could sing the world view of "Saint Seiya".
In the early stages of production, when I was in Houston, U.S., doing voice recording for the English cast of "Saint Seiya," the sound director told me that he went to a famous band concert on a weekend and the band that sang in the front was amazing.
After returning to Japan, when we started discussing the theme song, THE STRUTS' name came up, and I felt a sense of fate, so I directly asked them if they would sing "Pegasus Illusion," which had been my intention from the beginning, and they said "Let's do it. Was it a coincidence that the gods of artwork brought us together, or was it inevitable? I thought, "There is no other way but to do it!

I was so happy that I was able to offer them a chance to work together.

Formed in 2012 in Derby, England. With their glamorous, classic rock style, they have made an impact on the contemporary scene. Her debut album is "Everybody Wants" (US 2016, Japan 2017). The Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses, Motley Crue, The Foo, and Foo Fighters have been tapped as supporting acts. The spectacular and fun live show, full of rock and roll passion that engages all audiences, has been highly acclaimed around the world. Luke Spiller's powerful and elongated voice and standing figure, which the media around the world have described as the second coming of Queen's Freddie Mercury, have also attracted much attention. The catchy songs, inevitably singalongs, are further polished on the second album "Young & Dangerous" (2018), which is truly rock at its best. So far, the band has performed at Summer Sonic 2016 and 2017, and their February 2017 show in Japan was sold out in both Tokyo and Osaka. They are scheduled to perform at Summer Sonic 2019.
