The cast of the new Sailor Senshi in the theatrical version of "Sailor Moon Cosmos," to be released in June, has been determined. Images, standing pictures, and comments have been released.

Sailor Moon" was serialized in "Nakayoshi" magazine from 1991 to 1997 (written by Naoko Takeuchi), and even though the TV anime has finished airing, it is still loved around the world. In 2021, the "Dead Moon" version, which depicts Chibiusa Elios' first love and the growth of the Sailor Senshi, will be made into a movie titled "Sailor Moon Eternal," creating even more buzz.

In 2023, "Sailor Moon Cosmos," the final chapter of the film, will be released on June 9 (Friday) for the first part and on June 30 (Friday) for the second part.

The film depicts the final chapter of the "Sailor Moon" series, the "Shadow Galactica Arc. The Sailor Senshi are once again thrown into battle as their friends are targeted by the new enemy "Shadow Galactica" one after another.

Sailor Star Lights suddenly appeared in front of Usagi Tsukino and her friends. While performing as the popular idol group "Three Lights," they approach Usagi and the other girls quickly. ......? In the latter half of the video, Usagi and Sailor Starfighter Hikaru Hoshino can be seen gazing at each other.

The new Sailor Soldiers are played by Marina Inoue, Saori Hayami and Ayane Sakura!

A remarkable new cast has also been announced. The always cool leader of the Starlites, Sailor Starfighter/Hikari Hoshino (Seya Ko) will be played by Marina Inoue, who has appeared in "Shinkage no Kyojin" (as Armin Arlelt) and "Jujutsu Kaisen" (as Maori 禪院真依). In this PV, she shows her intimacy with Usagi, which also moves the story along significantly.

Saori Hayami, who has appeared in "ONE PIECE" (as Yamato) and "SPY x FAMILY" (as Yol Forger), plays the calm and intelligent Sailor Star Rights organizer, Sailor Star Maker/Atmosphere Light (Taiki Ko).

The role of Sailor Star Healer/Yatenko, with her cute idol side and cynical side, was played by Ayane Sakura, who has appeared in "My Hero Academia" (as Ochako Reichi) and "The Bride of the Fifth Class" (as Yotsuba Nakano).

My childhood dream has finally come true. As a child, I used to play Sailor Moon with my friends, and I still can't realize that I could become a Sailor Fighter and spend time with Usagi-chan and her friends in this way. I wish I could tell the story to myself back then. At the time, I was thinking, "Don't come between Usagi-chan and Mamo-chan! (laugh), but now that I am an adult, I find her straightforward thoughts to be truly sad and beautiful. (Laughs) But now that I've grown up, I realize that her straightforward feelings are really sad and beautiful. During the recording, I had to think about how I could make Ms. Hoshino look cool, and I had to think about the original picture as I played the role.

I never thought I would be involved in "Sailor Moon," which I used to look forward to watching every week when I was a child. When I read the script, I was fascinated by the Sailor Senshi who never stop looking forward, even in the midst of harsh and lonely battles. I was moved to tears not only by the grandeur of the story, but also by the powerful lines that encompassed even that. I was conscious of the atmosphere of calmness, softness, and maturity of the atmosphere, and I also considered the balance of the three Three Lights in my performance. The singing scene of the Three Lights is one of the highlights of the show, so I hope you will pay attention to it. In the "Sailor Moon" series? And as a Sailor Star? I was so excited to be a part of this amazing life...! I felt like I was in a dream. At the same time, I felt a lot of pressure.
He is an Aquarius type B, just like me, and although he seems to live freely, his feelings for what is important to him are strong. With a personality that doesn't seem like anyone else's, Yoten is easy to lean on and I enjoyed playing her, including the confident side that I don't have. I was hoping to get a yellow voice saying, "Cute! I also put a little bit of ambition into my performance (laugh).
The final battle. It sounds heavy. I was very nervous, but Yoten, who is always aloof, saved me and got me through the recording. Anyway, as Three Lights, we are looking forward to seeing you at the theater.
