On January 22, 2023, the second round of interviews for the "Yakuza" live cabaret actress auditions was held at Sega Osaki's headquarters in Tokyo.

The audition was for the right to appear as a cabaret girl in "Yakuza 7 Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name," scheduled for release in 2023, and "Yakuza 8" (role unknown), scheduled for release in 2024, and was open to residents of Japan aged 20 and older.

Seventy-four people remained for the second round, including TV personality First Summer Uika, professional wrestler Unagi Sayaka, gravure idol and influencer Unpai, Ito Sayaka, and Vtuber Kson.

Those who pass the second screening will advance to the final screening to be held in early February. The winner of the Grand Prix will receive the right to appear in "Yakuza7 Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name" as a cabaret girl, the right to appear in "Yakuza8," and a cash prize of 1 million yen.
