Spring Anime "My Home Hero" Koichi Yamadera to play the head of a semi-gangster organization! Comments from 3 new cast members and character visuals revealed!

New cast comments and characters, including Koichi Yamadera, have been announced for the TV anime "My Home Hero," which will begin airing in April.

Based on a roller-coaster crime suspense (original story: Naoki Yamakawa / manga: Masashi Asamoto) serialized in "Young Magazine" that has sold over 2.2 million copies (including digital editions). The main character, Tetsuo Tosu, is just an old man who puts his life and intelligence on the line in a battle against fierce underworld figures in order to protect his beloved family.

Following the announcement of Junichi Suwabe as the main character Tetsuo Tosu, a new cast member has been announced. Koichi Yamadera will play Shino, the head of a semi-greasy gang, Katsuhiro Tokuishi will play Takeda, a member of a semi-greasy gang, and Mitsuhiro Sakamaki will play Tetsuo's college classmate, Toshi Tabata.

I'm sorry, but I was so emotionally invested in Tetsuo when I read the original that I didn't have much of an impression of Shino.... Isn't Shino too mysterious? We don't know anything about him at this point except that he is the organizer of the semi-gangster group and the boss of Kubo, right? To be honest, I'm too jealous of Suwabe-kun who plays Tetsuo! I was repeatedly surprised by Tetsuo's mental strength to never give up thinking even in extreme situations.
I was amazed again and again at Tetsuo's ability to think and not give up, even under extreme circumstances. There were many scenes where I understood but was overwhelmed over the top with respect to these strong feelings.
I read on and on, wanting to understand more about the feelings of the characters.
It is a wonderful work that evokes a wide range of emotions. I am very honored to be involved as an actor.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you are playing and what is your enthusiasm for the role?
Takeda is one of the oldest members of the organization and a loyal subordinate of Kubo. I am very conscious of Kyoichi, who is a young man and has made a name for himself.
He is not a good person by any means, but I think he is a person who is prepared to put his life on the line, a world from which there is no return once he has set foot in it. I will do my best to express that determination in my voice. I look forward to working with you!

Satoshi Tabata cv. Mitsuhiro Sakamaki
He is an unsuccessful action actor. He is a classmate of Tetsuo and Utasen at university, and they are also friends in a theater circle.
He was insulated from Tetsuo and Utasen when he graduated from the university because he had defaulted on a total of more than 100,000 yen in debts from his circle mates.
