Strike Witches The Movie: Unit 501 is about to launch! will be released in theaters nationwide on October 4 (Friday), and a teaser visual for the film has also been released.

Strike Witches: 501st Squadron is about to launch! is a spin-off of the popular anime "Strike Witches. Yoshika Miyafuji joins the 501st Joint Combat Wing, humanity's line of defense. She throws herself into the battle against the Neuroi in order to protect the human race. ...... However, the enemy never appears, and she is forced to do the cooking and laundry every day. The story depicts the heartwarming daily life of Yoshika and the merry witches (UICHI).
The animation staff includes director Fumio Ito, character design by Kei Anshoku, and music by Shigeki Nagaoka. The animation production is by Acca effe Caricature Productions, and Production I.G Anime Beans will also participate as an animation production collaborator.

The name of the event is "World Witches Music Festa 2019 Premium Live Band Special" and the cast members who will participate in the event have also been announced.

World Witches Music Festa 2019 Premium Live Band Special" will be a joint event with Yoyoko Ishida, who has sung theme songs throughout the World Witches series, and Witches cast members singing the main songs. This is the first "Witches" joint live event in history.
The participating cast will include not only members of "Unit 501" but also members from other units. The members of "Luminous Witches," which will start animation in 2021, will also take the stage for the first time with all nine members.

<Synopsis> "Strike Witches The Movie: 501st Squadron is on the Run!
Yoshika Miyafuji, who lost her magical powers in the battle that destroyed the Neuroi nest, returns to her hometown of Fuso after the disbandment of Unit 501 and lives a peaceful life for the first time in a long time. Miyafuji heads for Europe again with Shizuka Hattori, who was Sakamoto's student at the naval academy. Meanwhile, the former members of Unit 501 have scattered to different parts of the world to lead their own lives, but Miyato's return to Europe and signs of a new Neuroi bring them back together. Then, as Miyato and Shizuka travel through Europe, a powerful Neuroi appears before them, and Miyato is plunged into the greatest crisis he has ever faced. Can the former comrades of the 501st safely rescue Miyato and the others?
