Following the Nintendo Switch/PlayStation 4 version released in August 2022, Happinet's game label, Happinet Indie Collection, has now released "Mutant Turtles: Shredder's Revenge" for PlayStation 5 (packaged version). (packaged version) is now available for purchase today, January 26, 2023 (Thursday).

Mutant Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is a belt-scrolling action game based on the 1987 animated TV series.
The CV (voice: US version) of the Turtles is recorded by the original cast of the time. Featuring nostalgic action and groundbreaking gameplay, players can go on a rampage with their favorite Turtles in a world depicted with delicate pixel art.

The game also features a story mode that depicts the battle against the Foot Clan led by their arch-enemy Shredder in New York City, an arcade mode that focuses on action elements and allows players to test their skills by earning scores, and a variety of other elements that make you want to play again and again, including difficulty level selection, item collection, challenges, and more.

In addition to the Turtles, "April," "Dr. Splinter," and "Casey Jones" join the game as playable characters. Each character has different characteristics and can perform combos and special moves with intuitive controls, allowing anyone to enjoy the exhilarating action.
Casey Jones" must be unlocked by playing the game.

Both the story and arcade modes allow for online and offline cooperative play with up to six players.
In PS5, the maximum number of players for offline cooperative play is four, while the maximum number of players for online cooperative play is six.

1. "Custom Game" added in Arcade Mode
Customization is possible for a total of 11 items, including "Doppelganger," which allows players to select the same character to play, and "Old-Fashioned Special Moves," which allows players to use special moves by consuming their physical strength, just like in video games of the time.

2. "Display Filter" is added to the options.
The screen looks like an old-fashioned monitor, and you can select from CRT/CRT Curve/VCR.
