Visuals and trailer for the film version of "Sailor Moon Cosmos" are now available! The theme song will be "Tsuki no Hana" written by Daoko!

The visual and trailer for the theatrical version of "Sailor Moon Cosmos," which will be released in June 2023, depicts the determination for the final battle and hope for the future.

Sailor Moon" was serialized in "Nakayoshi" magazine from 1991 to 1997 (written by Naoko Takeuchi), and even though the TV anime has finished airing, it is still loved around the world. The film version was made into "Sailor Moon Eternal," which drew even more attention.

This year, in 2023, the final chapter, the film version "Sailor Moon Cosmos," will be released on June 9 (Friday) for the first part and on June 30 (Friday) for the second part.

The film depicts the final chapter of the "Sailor Moon" series, the "Shadow Galactica Arc. The Sailor Senshi are once again thrown into battle as their friends are targeted by the new enemy "Shadow Galactica" one after another.

This film depicts the final chapter of the "Sailor Moon" series, the "Shadow Galactica Arc. A new enemy, the "Shadow Galactica," appears and targets her friends one after another, and Sailor Moon and her friends throw themselves into battle once again.
The visual depicts a dignified and beautiful Eternal Sailor Moon who, despite the loss of her loved ones and the harsh fate that awaits her, is determined to go straight for the sake of her loved ones and friends. Behind Eternal Sailor Moon, Sailor Galaxia, who holds the Sailor Crystal, the source of the Sailor Senshi's power, is depicted with a fearless smile on her face, foreshadowing an epic battle between the two. The Fire Ball Princess and Sailor Star Lights, who hold the key to the story, have also gathered, and expectations are high for what kind of story they will spin.

The trailer released along with the film depicts Eternal Sailor Moon confronting the horror of the approaching Sailor Galaxia and her harsh destiny.
Galaxia is plotting to conquer the galaxy and take away Sailor Moon's "Silver Moon Crystal," the most powerful crystal in the galaxy, and is hunting down Sailor Moon by stealing her friends one by one.
Despite her uncertainty, Sailor Moon still moves forward for the sake of her "future" and her "friends. What fate awaits her after the battle is definitely worth seeing in the movie theaters.

The theme song will be sung by Daoko!

Along with the trailer, the theme song "Tsuki no Hana" was released. The song was sung and written by Daoko, whose beautiful chorus work and unique, dreamy worldview have made her popular among teenagers. Daoko is a big fan of "Sailor Moon," and has been fascinated by the world of "Sailor Moon" since she was a child. She was "so happy and distraught" when she received this offer. The song is "beautiful but also strong and noble, embodying the Sailor Senshi," and Daoko's rendering of the world of "Sailor Moon" is sure to be one to behold.

I still remember the first time I saw "Sailor Moon", I was so fascinated by the noble and beautiful Sailor Senshi. The thrill of the transformation scene was especially vivid, and I still get a thrill from watching it now. I was so happy and distraught when I heard that I had been offered the chance to work on a work that has continued to fascinate me.
In creating the music, I watched the original work and the anime over and over again to gain a deeper input of the worldview. I believe that the song embodies the strong and noble Sailor Soldiers, while at the same time combining the fragility and beauty of a maiden. As a fan, I am really looking forward to the release of the movie! Let's wait excitedly together! I look forward to seeing you all at the theater to hear "Tsuki no Hana".
