Monster Hunter Rise: Sun Break" free update #4 will be released on February 7! New quests, DLC, and the phantom old dragon "Binglong Ivercana" are now available!

Information on the fourth free title update (Ver. 14) for "Monster Hunter Rise: Sun Break" has been released.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sun Break" is a super-sized expansion content for the Nintendo Switch/Steam game "Monster Hunter Rise. Centered on the observation base "Elgad," which investigates monster anomalies, the game features the kingdom's biggest threat, the "Three Dukes of the King's Domain," as well as resurrected monsters from the series.

On February 2, a special program "Monster Hunter Rise: Sun Break Special Program 2023.2.2" was released, announcing the fourth free title update (Ver. 14) on Tuesday, February 7.

The fourth update will feature the "Binglong Ivercana," a phantom ancient dragon confirmed in the new continent, and the puppet overcoming individual of the silver-winged evil star, the "Balfaluk," the heavenly comet dragon.

The puppet mutation research content has also been updated, with the addition of the puppet mutated "Gore Magara, moaning in chaos" to the EX★8. The level limit for the Puppet Investigation Quest has been raised to 220, and puppeted old dragon monsters will now appear at levels 111 and above.

The new materials obtained will open up the level limits for each item in the weapon puppet-i refining process, so be sure to take on the challenge.

The new monsters " Binglong Yverkhana" and "Balfaluk, the Puppet Overcoming Balfaluk" are now available!

Binglong Yverkhana

An ancient dragon that freezes everything in its path. It is also known as the "Binglong". There are very few official records of this dragon, and its ecology is still a mystery.
It freely manipulates cold air and releases a cryogenic breath, causing huge icicles and walls of ice to appear in an empty space. The power of this cryogenic breath is so great that it can ice even large monsters.
Yverkana have been seen freezing pterosaurs, but this is believed to be an act to show off their territory.

Following Onazuchi, Kushaldaora, and Theo Tescatl, even Balfaluk overcame puppet mutation.
It seems that Balfalque has obtained more powerful power by overcoming the outburst caused by Curia. Be careful, because it is very dangerous.
The enormous amount of dragon qi gives it overwhelming agility, and the dragon qi explosions that it unleashes are extremely intense.

Hunt the monsters added in Ver. 14 and use their materials to produce and strengthen new weapons and armor.

The quest for "Yvelkhana" requires MR 10 or more, and the quest for "Puppet Overcoming Balfalck" requires MR 160 or more. Don't miss out on new weapons, armor, and new skills that can be produced from the materials of the additional monsters.

■The puppet-analogued "Gore Magara Moaning in Chaos" appears in the Puppet-analogued Investigation Quest!
The Puppet Investigation Quest has been opened to EX★8, and the puppet transformed "Gore Magara Grunts in Chaos" has been added. This is a very difficult quest, but let's challenge it to test our skills.

The Puppet Quest [EX★8] is open to those with a Puppet Research Level of 211 or higher.
You need to hunt the monster corresponding to your rank in MR's quest.

New event quests with special rewards!

After the Ver. 14 update, event quests with various completion rewards will be periodically distributed.
Downloaded event quests can be received from the "Additional Contents" menu of the "Postman" facility at the base, and can be ordered at the "Event Quest" at the meeting place counter or observation base counter.
