The latest episode of the TV anime "Blue Rock" has been released with a synopsis and advance scene cuts.

The original story is serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (original story by Muneyuki Kaneshiro, manga by Yusuke Nomura). It depicts high school students fighting for survival in the "Blue Rock (Blue Prison)" project, which was launched to create the world's best striker. The manga won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the Juvenile Division. The smartphone game "Blue Rock Project: World Champion" has also surpassed 2 million downloads (as of January 2023).

The synopsis and scene cuts of the 17th episode (2nd season), which will air on February 4 (Sat.) from 25:30 on TV Asahi's nationwide network "NUMAnimation", have been released.

The synopsis and scene cuts are as follows.
Episode 17 "Bad at it
Chigiri, Kunigami, and Reio show their speed, physicality, and tactical sense in their respective weapons. On the other hand, Kiyoshi and his teammates are struggling because they cannot play together, although they manage to keep up with the individual play of Nagi and Umarou.
While analyzing the combination of the enemy team and the individual play of his teammates, Kiyoshi discovers a new way to use his "weapon" and evolves further.
The game, which is a whirlwind of "egos," causes a wave of further evolution.
