A new style of anime viewing at theaters is here! Anime ZONE," which screens anime on a large screen all year round, started on 7/19 (Fri.)!

It was announced that "Anime ZONE," which screens anime on a large screen all year round, will start at Cine Libre Ikebukuro on July 19 (Fri.).

With nearly 200 animation works broadcast on TV every year and the increase of video distribution sites due to the enhancement of the Internet environment, the way of viewing animation is not limited to TV broadcasting, but has become more diverse, including viewing on video distribution sites using PCs and smartphones.

Under such circumstances, anime viewing at theaters has become more popular, including "one-show screening," in which viewers can enjoy a series of anime works on a movie theater screen, and "advance screening," in which viewers can enjoy anime works before they are broadcast on TV. In addition, more planned screenings such as "cheering screenings" and "screaming screenings" are also being held.

This time, "Anime ZONE," a new style of anime viewing for anime fans who go to theaters in Ikebukuro, one of the sacred places for anime, will start on July 19 (Fri.) at Cine Libre Ikebukuro.

At "Anime ZONE," anime will be shown on the screen every day throughout the year!
The episodes that you have been watching at home on your TV, PC, or smartphone will be screened on a large screen and with a rich sound system that will make you feel as if you are watching something new. In addition, there will be a variety of events and programs that visitors can enjoy, such as participatory screenings, seasonal special screenings, and screenings with staff talks. A wide variety of works are scheduled to be screened, from the latest anime to nostalgic classics, and the TV anime "Sarazanmai" that has been airing since April will be screened all together. Other works are scheduled to be screened one after another, and details will be announced later, so please check the official website for details.
