PlayStation VR2 (PS VR2), the next-generation virtual reality system for PS5, was released by Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) today, February 22 in Japan.

PS VR2 will enable unique gaming experiences with PS VR2 Sense technology, which includes headset vibration, eye tracking, 3D audio, adaptive triggers on the PS VR2 Sense controller, haptic feedback, and many other features. Through games that support these functions, users can enjoy a rich gaming experience that appeals to all five senses and provides an overwhelming sense of immersion.

Furthermore, the controller tracking by the headset's onboard camera and support for the high-definition 4000 x 2040 HDR video format (2000 x 2040 per eye) create a virtual reality world suitable for the next generation.
