She was executed as an evil empress... "Elise the Surgeon" will be adapted into a TV anime!

A TV anime adaptation of the medical x reincarnation fantasy "Elise the Surgeon" has been announced.

Based on a novel by yuin and a vertical scrolling manga by mini, both serialized on Kakao Page, a comprehensive content platform in South Korea. In Japan, the vertical scrolling manga version has gained popularity on "Pikkoma" with more than 67 million "likes" and won the "Pikkoma AWARD".

In her first life, Elise was executed as an evil empress, and in her second life, she tried to atone for her mistake and lived as a surgeon for the sake of others. An accident sends her back to her first life, and the film depicts her struggle to resist her tragic fate and live a life with no regrets.

What kind of life will Elise choose in her third life, making use of modern medical knowledge? The human characters around her, who change as a result of her actions, will also be the focus of attention.

In the teaser visual for the TV anime, Elise is seen holding a scalpel, stethoscope, and other medical instruments, which look mismatched with the glamorous mansion. She is smiling with a soft but strong smile, and the scalpel also shows an image of Elise from the past.

The animation will be produced by MAHO FILM, directed by Kumiko Habara of "I'm Standing on a Million Lives (2nd season)" and "I'm a Villainous Young Lady and I Tried to Keep the Last Boss" fame, with Deko Akao in charge of the series composition.
