Official Report

The following is the original text of the report.

The world tour screening of "Demon Slayer" was screened in 95 countries and regions around the world, and the long-awaited stage greetings were held in Paris, France and Berlin, Germany on February 25 (Sat.) and 26 (Sun.), respectively. Under the title of "World Tour Screening," the film was recently screened in Mexico, and next week it will be screened in South Korea.

The venue was filled with fans wearing their favorite goods and looking at the stage with passion, and the voltage of the venue seemed to be rising already. As the audience waited eagerly for the cast to appear on stage, Katsuyuki Konishi, who plays the role of the sound pillar, Uzumi Tengen, and Yuma Takahashi, producer of the "Demon Slayer" anime, took the stage. As they entered the stage, they shouted, "Tengen! Tengen! The excitement of the fans reached a climax when Konishi greeted the audience with the famous line from Uzumi, "I'm going to be flashy from here on out.

The role of Umyou Tengen - a man who is a character of the "Umyou Tengen" - was created by the director, who gave a frank answer to the question "Who is your favorite other character? A candid answer to the question, "What other character do you like?
On the occasion of this event, a Q&A corner was set up on the official Twitter page of "Demon Slayer" to collect questions from the local fans and the two actors were asked to answer them. About the overseas stage greeting, "I am very happy to meet so many fans of "Demon Slayer" on the stage of the world tour of "Demon Slayer". (This is the first time for me to meet the local Demon Slayer fans in person, so I am very happy that you are all here today. (Takahashi) commented on the joy of meeting the fans in Paris and Berlin through the world tour.

In the "Yugaku-hen" depicted in the film, Uzumi Tengen is engaged in a fierce battle. When he was chosen to play the role of Uzumi, he commented, "I was extremely happy! I love the work "Demon Slayer" as much as you do. Like everyone else, I love the work "Demon Slayer," and since I was doing voice work for a living, I had a passion to be a part of the "Demon Slayer. (I love the flamboyant and very cool character of Uzumi Tengen in the story," said Konishi. I love the flamboyant and cool character of Uryu Tengen in the story. "Demon Slayer" is a very important work for me as well, filled with dreams, hopes, love, and many other things, and Uryu Tengen is a very important character. I love his occasional moments of weakness, his flamboyant side, and the way he cares for his wife. (The difficult part (of the role) was that he is a pillar, so he has to be a standard-bearer who leads everyone, and I think he is a very charismatic character. The most difficult thing for me was to express the charisma that Uzumasa Tengen has. (Konishi), who spoke passionately about the fun and difficulty of playing his essence and way of life hidden in his flamboyant appearance.

When asked about how he created the character of Uzumasa Tengen and how he created the role, he replied, "When I first saw Uzumasa Tengen in the trial scene before the Hashiragae Conference, I thought he was a very excited and flamboyant man. But as we entered the brothel section, the character of Uzumaki Tengen became more and more complex with each episode, and I was able to create the character of Uzumaki Tengen as a human being. The fans in the audience were intrigued by what the cast had to say about the postrecording process.

In this film, episodes 10 and 11 of "Yugaku-hen," which depict the climax of the fierce battle between Umyuu, Riku and Falling Princess of Jogen, and Taro the Geisha, were shown for the first time in theaters. Regarding the postrecording of the battle scenes, Konishi said, "When I actually started the postrecording, I saw Sumijiro, played by Hanae-kun, Zenitsu, and Inosuke all burning their hearts to fight an enemy much more powerful than themselves, and I decided that I would also burn my heart to fight. For me, they were the pillars of the recording studio. I hope you will enjoy the episodes 10 and 11 (of the Yugaku-hen) that you are about to see, as everyone is really burning their hearts and minds as they fight against a single enemy. I hope you will enjoy it," he said, looking back on the passionate postrecording sessions where he put his whole heart and soul into his work.

He also revealed that his favorite part of Uzumi is "the way he cares for his friends and his three wives. When asked who his favorite "Demon Slayer" character other than Eu Myeong Tengen was, he answered immediately, "My wife, of course!

The bond with ufotable, "They are all people who do their best.
Takahashi, the producer who has delivered such works, said, "ufotable is a wonderful group of anime creators who create wonderful works, so I believe in everything they create and think every day about how to deliver what they have created to you. Every day I think about how to deliver each of their works, like this world tour for example, and I take that approach." He passionately states that he is able to deliver great works because he has fans all over the world who love his works.

Takahashi also commented on ufotable, the company that produced the animation for "Demon Slayer," which they have worked together with over the years to create, "They have always been very sincere about creating animation. They always spare no effort to create the best images they can imagine at the time, and they always give their best to their work. Even the "Yugaku" version is of excellent quality and can be seen on a big screen, and they all have a great love for their work. I can truly respect the way they work hard to please their fans, always keeping their hearts burning and never giving up, just like Sumijiro and Uzumi at ufotable." He praised them with respect. He expressed his joy that people around the world could see his technical skills, which were also shown in the video of this film.

■What are the highlights of the "Village of the Sword Smith" version?
In addition to the climax of the "Yuugaku-hen," the first episode of "The Village of the Sword Smith" will be shown for the first time in this film, which has been attracting more and more attention since its release. After the overwhelmingly powerful "Sangen Gathering" at MUGEN Castle, Sumijiro and his friends head to the village of swordsmiths, where they meet Tokitoru Muichiro, Mitsuri Kanroji, and others, opening a new chapter in the story.

Regarding the highlights of the film, Konishi said, "There is a battle scene of Uzumotengen in the Yugaku version. I put my heart and soul into that scene and gave it my all. I would like everyone to see the end of the "Yugaku-hen" and the beginning of the "Katanagari no Sato" including that scene." He also hopes that the audience will be able to see the fierce battles between Umyuu and Fallen Princess & Geotaro in the "Yugaku-hen" as well as the activities of the pillar team of Kasumibashira Tokitoru Muichiro and Koibashira Kanroji Mitsuri in the "Katanagari no Sato".

Takahashi also said, "After finishing the story of the "Yugaku-hen," you will see the first episode of the "Sword Forging Village Arc" for the first time. In this new episode, Sumijiro and Izumiko* head off to a new location, and the Sangen Oni gather together to show the new Sangen Oni, other than Ikaroza. The very unique demons are performed by a wonderful voice cast. I hope you will pay attention to the charm of each character and the places where the demons gather. It's a great animation, so please enjoy it to the end." The staff members, just like Sumijiro, never gave up in their efforts to create this work, and they spoke of the highlights of the film.

Fans went wild for that line!
To commemorate the world tour screening of the film, Konishi recorded a live voice-over for the audience. The "score" is complete! Let's go win! (Konishi), a famous line from the climactic scene in the film. Fans in Paris and Berlin were overjoyed to hear Konishi's "live recording" for the first time, and were drawn into a whirlpool of excitement.

At the end of the event, a raffle was held to select the winners, who were presented with "Demon Slayer" goods and autographs from Konishi and Takahashi on stage! The fans were all smiles as they received their gifts, and took a commemorative photo with Konishi and Takahashi at the end of the event. Konishi said, "Thank you very much for creating such a wonderful place. Takahashi followed by thanking the audience for coming, and the audience gave a thunderous round of applause. The two ended the greetings in Paris and Berlin with smiles on their faces, excited about the film's continued worldwide screening.
