Pikapika Soft Ice Cream with "Pikachu Monaka" will be on sale from April 28! Popular Kanazawa Gourmet Sweets in Ishikawa Prefecture

(Headquarters: Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture) will start selling "Pikapika Soft Ice Cream" with "Pikachu Monaka" on April 28.

Ltd. (headquartered in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture), which has inherited the traditional technique of "Kanazawa foil" and evolved it into a new form to create a variety of products.

The "Kinpaku no Kagayaki Soft Ice Cream" was sold in limited quantities when the Hokuriku Shinkansen opened in 2015. It was picked up by many media and SNS due to its visual impact, and has now become a representative Kanazawa gourmet sweet.

In September 2022, a Pikachu gold leaf postcard experience was held at the Pokemon Center Kanazawa (Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture), where Pokemon fans could enjoy touching gold leaf. This event led to the commercialization of the Pikachu postcards in time for the "Pokémon x Crafts" exhibition.

The "Pikachu Monaka" with "Gold Leaf Pica Pica Pica Soft Ice Cream" comes in three varieties, and it is up to you to choose which Pikachu you would like. Each "Pica Pica Soft Serve" comes with a paper "Pikachu Pica Pica Coaster (not for sale)".

The coaster is designed to commemorate the "Pokemon x Crafts Exhibition" to be held at the National Crafts Museum from March 21, 2023.
