TV anime "Stardust Telepath" main cast decided! Following "K-ON! and "Yuru Can△", a story of high school girls in the Kirara style.

The main cast of the TV anime "Stardust Telepath" has been determined. Comments and character drawings have been released.

Based on a four-frame manga serialized in "Manga Time Kirara" by Rasko Okuma, which was nominated for the "Next Coming Manga Award 2021". The TV anime is directed by Kaori-san, who also directed "The Bride of the Fifth Class" and "Yuyushiki".

The long-awaited main cast has now been announced.

Yurie Funado, who played the role of Kuraccchi in the TV anime "Majika Party," will play the role of Kaika Konohoshi, who is not good at communicating with others. The alien "Yuu Meiuchi" is played by Seria Fukagawa, who played the role of Toruko Fukamizu in "Glass Slip.

Yurie Funado and Seria Fukagawa are scheduled to appear on stage at the Hakuhodo DYMaP booth at AnimeJapan 2023 on Sunday, March 26. Details will be announced later.

What did you think of the original story?
I couldn't stop reading and was captivated by the cute illustrations and the delicate and beautiful story. I especially love the sparkling and fragile scene when she is a little embarrassed when she has her forehead pasty!
From Kaika's strong desire to go to space, she met Yu and other attractive characters like Haruno and Shun, and together they built a rocket, which I felt was truly a coming-of-age experience! I felt that this was truly a coming-of-age experience.

About the character of Kaika Konohoshi
Kaika is a shy high school girl who is not good at communicating with others because of her shyness and stage fright. I am not good at summarizing what I want to say, and like Kaika, I sometimes feel frustrated because I want to say what I want to say but can't convey it well, so I sometimes feel that I have a link with Kaika.

Please tell us about your enthusiasm for the role.
When I got the call from my manager that I had been chosen to play the role of Kaika, I was so surprised and happy that I was speechless and could only say "ah...ugh......", just like Kaika. （I was so happy to be able to make such a wonderful report to everyone who has been supporting me day after day.
I am very happy to be able to play the role of Kaika with my best friends and staff members, and I will play the role with all my heart and attention to detail!

A few words to your fans
This work is a coming-of-age story for high school girls with a space theme, and it is also a story of Umika's growth. I would be very happy if you could gently cheer her up and tell her to "hang in there" when she feels like falling apart.
I would be happy if you could warmly watch over Umika and her friends as they cry and laugh a lot, stumble and overcome obstacles, and grow in any way they can!

What did you think of the original story?
I thought the cute characters created with a delicate touch were beautiful, but as the story progressed, I got a thrill from the feeling that they were not only cute but also living their lives to the fullest! I thought that the way they expressed themselves outside of the four-panel format was perfect for these girls, as if they were out of the box.

What do you think of the character Yu Meiuchi?
At first glance, I thought she was just a headstrong, headstrong person who was just trying to get everyone to do her bidding, but she turned out to be a motherly figure. But she is an enigmatic self-proclaimed alien who wraps herself around Kaika with motherly love and support, asks her sharp questions, and has a mature side to her! Please pay attention to the depth of Yu-chan's love.

Please tell us about your enthusiasm.
The recording sessions are now in the final stages, and my love voltage is always at 100%!
It's a little different from Kirara's previous works, not just cute, but... not! Please take care of Stardust Telepath.
Fukagawa will also do her best to convey the goodness of Yu-chan.

This work reminds me of how big and important my worries and dreams were when I was a student... and how that was all that mattered back then.
