The results of the "Character Popularity Poll in Commemoration of Happy Birthday Mamoru Miyano" are in: !!!! I wonder how many characters will be ranked!

We are pleased to inform you that the official voting project #, which was conducted from June 7 to June 14, 2019 at Akiba Research Institute, has ended and the results are in.

You can play a handsome man! You can play an animal character! You can also play a crazy character with a kick-ass performance! Mr. Miyano is a jack-of-all-trades, and the results of the popular character poll are as follows.

This is truly a lineup of popular characters. I was surprised to see how many popular works and characters they were involved with.

The top vote-getters were all good-looking characters. Among them, Osamu Dazai of "Bungo Stray Dogs" was especially popular. He gave a good performance as a profound character whose aloofness and ephemeral nature are intertwined with each other.

Second place went to Matsuoka Rin of "Free! He was initially introduced as a rival character, but in fact he is a character with an unusual inner life, as he wants to swim with the main character Haruka and her friends again (......).

In third place is Ichinose Tokiya from "UtaPuri," which is currently enjoying popularity in theaters. She is a calm, intelligent character with a cool singing voice. In fourth place is Fushimi Saruhiko from "K," who has a terrible attitude but does what he has to do.

As you can see, the top ranks were filled with four different characters, each with their own unique charm.

The charm of Mr. Miyano's acting is his ability to play a wide variety of characters, but it is the so-called "sharp-tongued" and "stupid" characters (in my opinion!) where he really comes into his own. I think he has a great ability to play a wide variety of characters.

The gap between his beautiful voice and his outlandish characters creates a deep taste and leaves a big impact on the viewers. ...... The best examples of such characters are Tamaki Suoh of "Ouran High School Host Club" (No. 5) and Narumi Tsukiyama of "Tokyo Ghoul" (No. 6). In a sense, these two characters are representative of Miyano's work, as Tamaki Suoh is "good-looking and silly" and Naru Tsukuyama is "good-looking and perverted," breaking new ground for good-looking characters! I admit to disagreeing! Tre! Bian!

On the other hand, there were two main characters who are also popular among men: Setsuna F. Seiei from "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" at No. 7 and Rintaro Okabe from "STEINS;GATE" at No. 8. In the case of Setsuna, he played the role of a boy growing into a man, and in the case of Okabe Rintaro (Okarin), he played the role of a college student with a kitchen sickness growing up to a hero who breaks through the world line.
Also, in "I am the Gundam! (Setsuna) and "El psai kongruu" (Rintaro), which have left their mark on anime history.

Ninth place goes to Zanatsu Natsume from "Youxu x Boku SS. She is a mysterious character who always has a smile on her face, but her true identity is shrouded in mystery. Although she plays a minor role, she has a unique presence and continues to be very popular.

And in tenth place is Kotaro Tatsumi of "Zombieland Saga! He made the top 10 list partly because of his strong personality in the hit "Zombieland Saga" broadcast last year. While at first he appeared to be a brash character who spoke in a Saga dialect, he actually turned out to be a surprisingly passionate character at the end of the show. The "good looking guy? ×x High-tension x Hot-blooded" hybrid performance, he led the production.

The results of the voting showed that Mr. Miyano, who has been active as a handsome and good-looking voice actor, is actually a technician who can play a wide variety of characters using his good-looking voice as a hook.
