Evangelion Chukyo Area Project" reveals a silhouette of a giant standing statue of the <Gold> Evangelion first plane!

The second project, "Evangelion Chukyo Area Project: From Nagoya and Sasashima Live to the World," which will be implemented from January to March 2020 in the Chukyo area centered on Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, has been announced.

The project, "Evangelion Chukyo Area Project: From Nagoya and Sasashima Live to the World," will be held from January to March 2020 in collaboration with the popular anime "Evangelion," which is gaining momentum with the release of its latest theatrical version in 2020, and the Chukyo area centered on Nagoya City in Aichi Prefecture. The project will be implemented from January to March 2020.

The second project of the "Evangelion Chukyo Region Project - From Nagoya and Sasashima Live to the World" has been announced.

In this announcement, the image silhouette of the giant standing statue of the <Gold> Evangelion first plane, which was the talk of the town in the first announcement, was revealed.

In addition, the special project and visual images of Nagoya Sasashima Live and Nagoya Railroad Group were also unveiled at once.

Evangelion - Silhouette public! Special exhibition of the standing statue of Evangelion Hatsugen
Location：Terminal 1 2nd floor, Arrival Lobby Central
Installation period: Friday, December 27, 2019 - Tuesday, March 31, 2020 (scheduled)

A 3-meter-high gold aircraft will welcome arriving passengers at Centrair, which handles approximately 3.1 million airline passengers in fiscal 2018 (January to March). This is a symbolic monument befitting the gateway to the project, which also aims to promote inbound and outbound tourism and cultural exchange.

Evangelion Chukyo Area Project: Exhibition of Selected Original Evangelion Drawings (fee required)

The exhibition is reconstructed with approximately 200 production materials carefully selected from the "Evangelion Exhibition" that has been touring throughout Japan since 2013. The exhibition will also include art backgrounds, mechanics, and other valuable settings, as well as original drawings of famous scenes, which will allow visitors to appreciate the appeal of the new theatrical versions of ":Introduction", ":Break", and ":Q" once again.
In addition, original reproductions and setting materials of "Shin Evangelion the Movie," which will be released in June 2020, will also be exhibited.
There will also be a sale of goods.

Special exhibition of a 6-meter statue of Evangelion's first plane

A 6-meter statue of Hatsugerion will be displayed in the center of Global Gate, a commercial complex that is a landmark of Sashima Live.

Wrapping bus & coupon ticket sales
Running period: January 10 (Fri.) - March 31 (Tue.), 2020 (scheduled)

During the period, the Sasashima Welcome Bus will run between Nagoya Station and Sasashima Live with Evangelion specifications.
There will be three different wrapping designs, including the main characters in their plug suits, and the collaboration-filled interior and in-train announcements will also allow visitors to enjoy the world view of Evangelion. To commemorate the wrapping, a limited number of coupon tickets with designs of the main characters are also available.

Code deciphering rally
A participatory game in which participants solve Evangelion-related riddles in the Sashi Sashima Live Area by using their powers of fluttering.

Evangelion special edition MuSky trains will run
Period: Tuesday, January 14, 2020 - Monday, March 9, 2020 (scheduled)

During the period, a special Evangelion-spec MuSky will be on the road.
The design is based on the motif of the first plane.

Evangelion Diorama Stamp Rally
Period: January 10 (Fri.) - March 29 (Sun.), 2020

During this period, "Evangelion Georama Stamp Rally" will be held along Meitetsu lines.
At some of the stamp points, visitors can enjoy dioramas created by Kaiyodo that reproduce scenes from the anime.
In addition, visitors will receive Evangelion original goods on a first-come, first-served basis according to the number of stamps they have collected.

Nana-chan dolls decorated with popular characters
The giant mannequin doll "Nana-chan" in front of the Meitetsu Department Store Main Store [Men's Building] will be dressed up as an Evangelion character!
