So, "Weekend Plastic Model Making by Voice Actor Taiyuki! Let's get started with the 72nd issue!

Weekend Plastic Model Making by Voice Actor Yasuyuki Tai Part 72: SOLΣ GRAVION Part 1

Following the appearance of the MODEROID "God Gravion," the MODEROID "Sol Sigma Gravion" finally makes its appearance! Sol Sigma Gravion showed its power without regret in the movie, but many of us must have cried because we did not expect Eina to come back as a pilot. For the details of the story, please refer to the full-length anime.

Who would draw the package illustration without him? The illustration is by Masami Ohari, the director of "Choujujin Gravion". It depicts Sol Sigma Gravion with its body burning red like the sun.

The back of the package not only describes this kit, but also introduces the Ultimate Gravion, the most powerful combined god.

The background of the package illustration is so huge that it wraps around the sides.

The top and bottom surfaces are designed like this. The thickness of the box is unusual.

The runner is also a large volume as you can see. Again, there are painted parts and clear parts for a luxurious specification.

In addition to the assembly instruction manual, there are 3 parts of the instruction manual, including a manual for Goshin.

Again, the number of photos is overwhelming, so let's start with the core robot, Gran Kai Sigma.

Like the God Gravion Gran Kaiser, it is smartly styled. The painted parts, partitions, and stickers do a great job of reproducing the color scheme.

The thrusters on the backpack are also color-coded. Even on the back, which is not so noticeable, you can feel the attention to detail without feeling like you're missing out.

Speaking of the Gran Sigma, the head is broken. It is a small detail, but it is a pre-painted part, which is very helpful. Clear parts are also placed in various places, providing a nice accent. A handsome guy!

There are many pre-painted parts, such as the feather-like decorations on the shoulders and head. This is very helpful, especially since it is tough to apply white or yellow paint to a black molding color.

Ahhh!

As with the Grand Kaiser, the joints for the combined body are also integrated into the details and are not noticeable.

Even the rounded mold of the rear skirt is well reproduced. Excellent!

The range of movement starts from the head. The head can be moved with a ball joint connection.

Arms can be rotated vertically on the shoulders to the upper part of the body. The arms can be lifted horizontally up to about 90 degrees.

Roll rotation with the second arm. Elbows can be rotated 90 degrees.

The wrists can be rotated by connecting the shafts, and can also be snapped by using the gimmick when the figure is in sync.

Shoulder armor can be folded down to this level.

The chest can be tilted horizontally.

And a slight forward tilt is also possible.

Roll rotation at the waist connection.

Leg opening is superb both front to back and left to right, and both can be opened to nearly 180°.

Roll rotation is possible under the hip joint. The knees are double-jointed and bend quite deeply.

The ankles benefit from deformation, and there are movable parts to lift the toes. By rotating the joint parts, the figure can be moved in various directions.

Left and right wrists are also included with flat hands. The sharp and smart actions of the Sandman's Gran Sigma are sure to be a good match. The range of motion is almost the same as that of God Gravion's Gran Kaiser.

The shoulder armor can be folded down, allowing the figure to be used as a power reactor.

Next is the Geo Mirage, which differs greatly from the G Shadow in size, but retains the same general structure.

The Sol Graviton cannon mounted on the underside of the fuselage is impressive.

On the underside of the fuselage, there is a joint hole for connecting "THE Simple Stand," so it can be displayed in flight.

Geo Javelin. In God Gravion, it was a ground mecha called G-Driller, but in this kit, it is a flying mecha. The flying drill is quite an interesting mecha.

The square part of the jet nozzle is a part that hides the combined connection axis, so it must be removed when the God-Gravion is combined. The gray parts of the wings are color-coded with stickers.

Lastly, Geo Stinger and Geo Calibur, but since they have exactly the same shape as the G Attacker and G Striker of God Gravion and more, we will only introduce one of them. While the Attacker G and G Striker have sharper fuselages, this one has a sturdier, more powerful silhouette.

The jet nozzle is placed at the rear of the fuselage, which is at the heel of the Goshin! Jet nozzles are placed at the rear of the fuselage.

Let's take a look at the two aircraft side by side.

The machine gun is also modeled under the nose. The details are also well-done!

Now, let's move on to the Sol Sigma Gravion! The two arms of Gran Sigma were already joined together when it first appeared in the anime, so we'll simply show you how it was done in this article at .......

Lift both arms of the Gran Sigma up to the sides.

Rotate 180° with the two arms and open the arm covers to store the wrists. Close the covers.

While pushing the arms into the torso, widen the torso from side to side.

The ankles are brought into the synodic position by lifting the toes.

Geo Stinger and Geo Caliber fold the wings and nose down.

Geo Javelin is divided once to this point.

Reassemble each part, remove the joint covers, and the joint is ready to be joined.

Left and right sides are merged into the arm joints of Gran Sigma respectively.

For both arms, expand the wrist bases and rotate the wrists outward. ......

Return the base to its original position again, and the transformation of Geo Javelin is also complete.

Open the panels on the underside of the Geo Stinger and Geo Caliber fuselage to prepare the Gran Σ legs for acceptance. ......

Insert the square joints into the shins of the Gran Sigma and close and lock the panel.

The Geo Mirage is deployed while removing the head cover and some of the frame.

Attach the extension parts for the Goshin to the tip of the cannon to form the Goshin form.

Geo Mirage is combined with the chest.

Remove the back head part of the Gran Sigma and attach the head part that was mounted on the Geo Mirage to complete the merging of all the mechanisms!

Behold! Sol Sigma Gravion in all its glory! The volume is so large that even the cannon would end up like this if we tried to capture it in a photo.

In the second part of this article, we will delve further into the Sol Sigma Gravion!
