Senpai ha Otoko no Koko", which was selected as No. 1 in the "5th Manga Ranking of Manga to be made into Anime", is to be adapted into a TV anime. The video and illustrations have been released.

Senpai wa Otoko no Koko" is a webtoon work by manga artist and illustrator Pom, serialized on LINE Manga from December 2019 to December 2021. The work gained popularity by carefully depicting the personalities of Makoto Hanaoka, a "boy's girl" who loves cute things, Saki Aoi, his junior, and Ryuji Ooga, his best friend, and the process of their growth.

The manga won third place in the Web manga category of the "Next Coming Manga Award 2021" and first place in the "5th Manga Ranking for Anime Adaptation" at AnimeJapan 2022. The latest five volumes of the manga are scheduled for release on March 29, 2023.


The long-awaited TV anime adaptation has now been announced. The teaser visual depicts the main character, Makoto Hanaoka, drawn by the anime's production studio.

<Synopsis
Makoto Hanaoka, a boy's girl who loves cute things, is one day confessed to by a junior girl, Saki Aoi, under the mistaken impression that Makoto is a girl.
Makoto tells her that he is a man, not a woman, and she refuses his confession, saying that she has never had a boyfriend in the past.
However, the fact that she is a boy's daughter makes Saki happy, saying that she can enjoy both male and female senpai, and she even declares that she will become her senpai's first love, which makes Makoto look back on her.
