Akimoto Yasushi produces "IDOL3.0 PROJECT," a new real x virtual idol project!

The launch of "IDOL3.0 PROJECT," a new idol project that straddles the real and virtual worlds, produced comprehensively by Yasushi Akimoto, has been announced.

Overse, an entertainment planning, production, and development company, has launched a new idol group creation project, "IDOL3.0 PROJECT" (IDOL3.0 PROJECT), with Yasushi Akimoto as the overall producer. The aim is to create an idol group that is "updated" to meet the needs and changes of the times, without being constrained by the conventional image of idols, their fields of activity, or group management.

The group will begin recruiting members in early April, and plans to hold information sessions in seven cities throughout Japan. After a multi-stage audition process, the group plans to make its debut this fall.

The project will be managed by King Records and other staff members who have been involved in the development of popular idol groups such as AKB48, Nogizaka46, Hyuhizaka46, Sakurazaka46, IZ*ONE, and =LOVE. Breaking through the stereotypes of idol images, this project will create a new boom in the age of 2025.

Moving back and forth between the real and virtual worlds to update the "realm of idol activities
The new idol groups in this project will be active in both "real" venues, such as concerts and handshake events, and "virtual" venues, such as the Metaverse space and other online venues. The group develops its activities in both real and virtual spaces.

Without the concept of real or virtual space, domestic or overseas, they will expand the scope of their activities beyond those of conventional idols, enabling them to constantly disseminate information to people all over the world and communicate with fans on a mutual basis.

In addition, all members of the idol group will be selected. All members who pass the final audition will debut as one group, and all will participate in the title song.

Updated "Group Management System
This project is funded by the Nippon Idol Token ("NIDT"), a cryptographic asset issued by Overse. Purchase applications will begin today, March 29.

In the future, NIDT holders will receive benefits such as participation in some productions, invitations to exclusive events, and the granting of NFTs. Instead of asking fans to support a completed idol group, we will work together with fans to create an idol group that will be loved by people around the world.
