Wild vegetables as a chain mascot! New but nostalgic gacha of the month! Wacky Kaiyama's latest gacha exploration No. 29

Come to Onagawa, Miyagi Prefecture this summer! From July 27 to August 12, 2019, we will be holding a nostalgic "Cosmos" gacha exhibition! There will also be a talk show on the 10th. We started this issue with such an announcement.

In this column, capsule toy concierge "Wacky Kaizan" selects from a large number of the latest toys. In this 29th installment, we will look at two items that are the latest in gacha, yet somehow nostalgic. Let's take a look at two such warm items!

SUBARU SAMBER & YATAI Collection, Aoshima Bunka Kyozai-sha, 300 yen

The "1/64 Sambar Collection" sold in February 2018 is a popular scale for dioramas, which made us say, "As expected from Aoshima! We were so pleased to see this popular scale for dioramas. The lineup itself is quite a gutsy lineup, with the cars in normal blue or standard white with green seats. Some have an Aoshima logo sticker on the back of the truck (very artistic!). There was a wide variety, including a black version with corrugated cardboard.

One year and four months have passed since then. Now the lineup has changed drastically and is back with a pop and cute working car lineup. There are six types in total: three Sambars and three carts that can be placed on the back of the trucks. As with all capsule toys, you never know what you're going to get, so don't worry about what you'll do if you get a bunch of these in a row. ......

Red and beige sheets

I like to turn the car model upside down first to see the placement of the muffler on the chassis part. The fine detail is a must for car enthusiasts. In that respect, this time, of course, it passed the test & the flower circle!

The tires, less than 1 cm in diameter, of course rotate. The bright red body reminds me of a red lantern. The license plate is also finely colored and shines beautifully.

Oden

A food cart part recommended for red Sambar. You can put it on the back of the truck, but it also looks good left alone. Even if you have several of them, you can make a diorama of a festival by lining them up in a row. The stickers that come with it are amazing. The oden menu is so detailed that you can't even tell what it says. You need tweezers to put them on!

Yellow and red sheet

I like the yellow body. It seems to bring happiness! The contrast with the black undercarriage looks good. The yellow and black is very crisp! If you have an experience of riding on the back of a truck when you were a child, you can look through the rear window and feel as if you are back in time.

Kebabs

Yellow Sambar seems to recommend the kebab stall. The stickers that come with it have moe characters! The menu is even more detailed than the oden! The atmosphere is OK. The yellow and orange coloring on the roof part is very colorful and is sure to become a popular restaurant. It is easy to imagine the place bustling with customers.

Pink and white sheets

This is cute! Pink Sambar! It's a pink Sambar. The blue Subaru logo is the nose. The yellow number looks like a mouth, like it's smiling. Cars sometimes have expressions, don't they?

Crepe!

A cute house in a fairyland! The white and pink roof is very fancy. The attached sticker has an illustration of a large crepe. I guess they could sell tapioca now, too. It looks like they could open a store in Harajuku.

I would like to see what kind of mismatch will occur when the cute food stall is placed on top of the first model's gung-ho light truck. If you look closely, you can see that the color of the capsule and the body of the truck match! What an attention to detail! It would be a waste to open the capsule. It's too good to open the capsule.

Nature Technicolor MONO PLUS Wild Vegetable Ball Key Chain Mascot - Ikimon - 300 yen

Back when the mobile phone was taking the world by storm, a capsule toy called "Sansai Soft Strap" appeared on the market. Many years have passed since then, and smartphones have become the mainstream today. Now, a ball chain of wild plants has appeared as a key chain that can be attached to keys or the zipper of a bag.

Why do we have to hang wild plants? We hope that you will not question why it is necessary to hang a wild plant on your keys or bag fasteners. You will see that it is a very elaborate figure of wild plants. There are definitely people who mistake it for the real thing. This is a great product that can also be used as a prank goods. Let us introduce you to the lineup.

Butterbur sprouts

The bright green color and slightly open shape looks very tasty! You can use it as it is in tempura, or chop it up and dip it in miso. ...... is dangerous! This was a key chain, wasn't it?

Figs.

The lineup from the autumn fruits. It is very realistic that it is a little bit crushed. I got this from my neighbor's house. The peculiar sweetness of the figs and the pitted seeds. It is a memory of the Showa era.

Taranome

You really grow to love them when you grow up! It's so heartwarming, and tempura is the best. The little buds that have sprouted look delicious! I can feel the coming of spring.

Myoga

Vivid and light colors. It looks just like the real thing, with a smooth line pattern on the surface. I think I'll chop it up and eat it as a condiment for cold noodles.

Akebi

This is another fruit that reminds us of the arrival of autumn. I like the way it opens up to reveal the contents. Most people eat the inside, but in some regions, only the skin is stir-fried with miso paste.

Bamboo shoots

Bamboo shoots are a bit on the small side, but they look like they could be found in a bamboo grove, and are full of wild flavor. The unique rough texture and dark brown body are eye-catching.

Bracken

This exquisite four-directional opening of the bracken is reproduced in its best season. It is a reproduction of the most delicious season.

Udo (Japanese udo)

Udo" Suzuki is also famous, but it is different from udo. It is a wild vegetable with a unique bitter taste that becomes a habit when eaten as a boiled dish or salad. Perhaps it is a reward for my having grown up to be able to recognize this taste.

I can feel the attention to detail of the molding artist. Some might say that it would be cheaper to buy the real thing (......), but once you hold it in your hands, you will be impressed by its exquisiteness! We are looking forward to the sequel with great anticipation.
