The interview project of the cast of the popular spring 2023 anime "Kizuna no Ariru" has begun! The second installment features Rina Kawaguchi, who plays the role of Quon!

Kizuna Aril" is an anime project of the world's first virtual YouTuber "Kizuna Ai". It is the story of Miraku, a girl who follows Kizuna'ai's back and aims to become a virtual artist, and her friends. WIT STUDIO × Signal M.D. will be in charge of animation production.

Akiba Research Institute is paying close attention to the heroines of this work, which is attracting a lot of attention this spring! As the first installment, we will be publishing an interview with the cast of "PathTLive," the unit to which the main character Miraku belongs, in a series of five articles.

This time we have Rina Kawaguchi, who plays the role of Quon!

Please tell us how you felt when you were chosen to play the role in this film.

Kawaguchi: "I am so happy. ......! That's all I can say.

───Please tell us about the character of Quon.

Kawaguchi: He has a conspicuous appearance, so people around him tend to expect too much of him, but he is also a bit reluctant to take the first step toward becoming a virtual artist. She is a kind-hearted, considerate, and wonderful girl who often takes a balancer's role among the unit members.

─ What was your first impression of Quon? Also, please tell us if your impression changed after actually playing the role, if there are any new attractions you discovered, or if there are any similarities between the two.

Kawaguchi: My first impression was cute ......! After spending time together, I realized that our roots are quite similar to my real life self. Especially, I think our personalities are quite similar. I wonder if we also have long hair ......?

─ ─ What kind of unit is "PathTLive"?

Kawaguchi: We are full of energy! We are a fresh unit! We got along very well with the real members through postrecording! We had potlucks with the five of us, celebrated each other's birthdays, and I treasure each and every one of those memories.

─ What was your impression when you first heard the theme song "mirAI wave!

Kawaguchi: It was the ideal OP song! I felt it was the ideal OP song!

───If you were to play a member of "PathTLive" other than Quon, which character would you like to play?

Kawaguchi: I am interested in all four, but if I had to choose, I would say Miraku. He has a clear sense of anger, sorrow, and joy, and I think he would be a lot of fun to play.

─ ─ What is your impression of Kizuna Ai? Also, what are your influences from her presence and performance, and what do you yourself refer to in your work?

Kawaguchi: Kizuna Ai is a legend for us. I always try my best to be the kind of person that would make Kizuna Ai smile when she sees the 15 of us when she wakes up from sleep someday.

──What are the highlights of the anime "Kizuna Ariru"?

Kawaguchi: The members sometimes clash with each other, sometimes help each other out, and I hope you will enjoy the process of the strong bond between the members who were disparate at first! I would be very happy if you could support us. I look forward to your support.
