Konami Digital Entertainment will release "Super Bomberman R 2" for PS5, PS4, Xbox, Steam, and Nintendo Switch on September 14. A video and screenshots were also released.

The "Bomberman" series is a party battle game that has been popular for many years for its simplicity and deep strategy. The player controls the main character (Bomberman) and defeats all rivals in a battle using bombs to win.

The previous title "Super Bomberman R" was released in 2017, and "Super Bomberman R Online" will be released in 2021 with a free basic version. The current title "Super Bomberman R 2" is the latest in the series.

A new battle mode "Castle" has been added, allowing players to enjoy Bomberman in asymmetrical battles. For the first time in the series, the "Stage Editor" function allows players to create their own original stages and enjoy stages shared by other players.

In addition to the familiar "Standard" and "Grand Prix" battle modes, "Battle 64" allows up to 64 players to enjoy battles, while the "Story" mode, which can be enjoyed by a single player, has been enhanced with new friends and a new story. Cross-platform play is also possible in this title.

Everyone is your rival except you! Castle" mode
Players are divided into the defending side (Castle side) and the attacking side (Attack side), and can enjoy heated battles over the treasure chests on the stage.
