Weak Character Tomozaki-kun" (written by Yuki Yaku), published by Gaga Bunko, has won the "This Light Novel is Amazing! It is a school romantic comedy that has been ranked in the top 10 in the paperback category for four consecutive years, and will be adapted into a TV anime in January 2021. Fumiya Tomozaki, a high school student who is one of the best gamers in Japan but a loner in reality, tries to conquer his life under the guidance of the school's heroine, Aoi Hinan.

The teaser visual for the second season of the TV anime "Weak Character Tomozaki-kun" and a teaser PV with new footage of the second season were released at an event held on April 16, 2023.

The teaser visual depicts Natsuhayashi Hanabi (CV. Ryoko Maekawa), who will play a central role in the second season, with a powerful expression on her face, as well as the main character Tomozaki Fumiya (CV. Gen Sato) and Hinan Aoi (CV. Toshiko Kanemoto), who gives Tomozaki advice on life strategies.
