It was announced that the new TV series "Ultraman Blazer" will start airing on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. on the six TV Tokyo networks.

The latest TV series "Ultraman Blazer" follows the story of the hero "Ultraman Blazer", a new hero with an unshakable sense of justice who comes from the celestial body "M421" far away from the earth, and the hero Hilma Gent, the captain of the special monster response detachment "SKaRD" established by the Earth Defense Forces, who desires to save human lives. The two are united by their strong desire for power to save lives. This science fiction film depicts a heartwarming human drama of a captain who transforms into Ultraman, his team members, and superiors, through the latest special effects technology unique to the Ultraman series.

The theme of this film is "communication.
<Humans and Ultraman, humans and monsters/aliens, warriors on the battlefield and commanders in the conference room, parents and children....
How important is "dialogue" to convey feelings in order to overcome conflicts arising from differences in standpoints and thoughts and to cooperate with each other? The film depicts the characters' confrontation with various conflicts that could occur in the real world in the imaginary world of "Ultraman" as a cheerful and enjoyable entertainment.

The main topic of this film is that the main character, Hilma Gent, who transforms into Ultraman, is the "captain" of the defense team. This is an unprecedented setting in the history of the Ultraman series, which spans more than half a century.

Captain Hilma Ghent, who is the leader of the SKaRD, which responds to monster disasters with its main giant monster-shaped mecha "Earthgallon," organizes the team members and, while sometimes caught between the team members and the higher-ups, himself confronts the enemy on the frontlines. Tomoya Warabino, a popular actor who made his acting debut in 2007 and is well-known to fans of the hero series, plays the role of the hero who is both a captain and a family man for the first time in a TV series, with his outstanding acting ability that combines humor with a mature composure. The character transforms into "Ultraman Blazer" using the new transformation items "Blazer Breath" and "Blazer Stone," a crystalline body containing the power of light.

Ultraman. He is still loved all over the world.
When I was a child, I used to imitate him in the mountains on my way to and from school with half of the red and white hat I wore to school. At that time, only his mysterious and overwhelming strength remained in my mind, and I may have felt that one day I wanted to be the one who could protect someone important to me.
Several decades have passed since then. I myself got married and Ultraman Blazer came to me at the right time, as if by chance. Now that I am an adult, I would like to return the favor to those memories.
The strength to meet and protect the people I love.
I want children to feel "someday" and adults to feel "what I can do now".
Ultraman Blazer" is an Ultraman unlike any other, and will surely remain in everyone's hearts.

A few years ago, Director Taguchi showed me an illustration of King Joe SC (Strage Custom) and asked me, "If you were to name each part of this, what do you think would be the best name? That's how it all started.
When I was in junior high school, I rented a VHS of "Ultraman Tarou" from a rental video store and watched it. My parents told me, "At such an age, you still watch such things," which temporarily put me off watching it. I would like to say to myself and my parents back then.
"I'm going to work on Ultraman in the future, so watch it more & make me watch it!" I would like to say to myself and my parents back then.
I hope everyone can feel the excitement and thrill I felt when I watched it back then in this film. Thank you very much!
