The 30th anniversary screening of "Mobile Police Patlabor the Movie" and runaway talk event will be held at United Cinemas Odaiba on December 28, 2019.

Since the project's inception in 1988, "Mobile Police Patlabor" has developed into a variety of media mixes, including manga, anime, and video games, and its vitality continues to this day. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the first theatrical version, "Mobile Police Patlabor the Movie. To commemorate the anniversary, events related to the 30th anniversary are being held, including a screening at Tachikawa Cinema City from November 23 (Sat.) to 28 (Thu.), 2019.

The "Mobile Police Patlabor the Movie" 30th anniversary screening and runaway talk event will feature director Mamoru Oshii, screenwriter Kazunori Ito, producer Shin Unozawa, and Taro Maki. Since the event name includes the word "Runaway" talk, it is expected to be a heated discussion.
