Netflix has announced the featured anime lineup for May 2023.

In May, "Yakitori" by Carlo Zen, known for "ULTRAMAN Final Season" and "Juvenile Senki," will be exclusively distributed, and "MASHLE" and otherspring 2023 anime thatstarted airing in April willbe distributed one after another.

In addition, as "Mother's Day" is just around the corner, anime features in which "mothers" take an active part will also be delivered.

Ultraman Final Season

Akira Ihozu was born and raised on the planet Earth, which has been colonized and ruled by the giant interstellar nation "Shoren. In order to change his predetermined fate, he volunteers to join the Planetary Orbital Infantry, a.k.a. "Yakitori," at the invitation of the Shoren's recruiting officer, Chef Papkin.
However, it is a harsh unit with an average mortality rate of 70% during operations.

Spring, the first year of high school. Kumiko Kikamae, who was in the brass band in junior high school, goes to visit the brass band with her classmates Hazuki Kato and Midori Kawashima. There, Kumiko sees her former classmate, Rena Kosaka.
Hazuki and Midori seem to have decided to join the brass band, but Kumiko is not ready to take the plunge. What she remembers is what happened with Rena at a brass band competition in junior high school.
