Animate Akihabara", the renewed "Animate Akihabara", held its grand opening today, April 28 (Fri.). A ribbon-cutting and mini-talk opening event was held to commemorate the grand opening.

Natsuori Ishihara, who is active as a voice actress and artist, took the stage for the ribbon-cutting and mini-talk at the opening event, and an official report summarizing the scene at animate Akihabara has arrived.

The "Animate Akihabara Opening Event" was held on April 28, with Natsuori Ishihara and Animate Akihabara store manager Junnosuke Morita on stage to cut the ribbon, followed by a talk event with Natsuori Ishihara. The event was also broadcast live on the Animate Times YouTube channel.

Natsuori Ishihara said, "Congratulations on the grand opening of Animate Akihabara. I have often visited Animate in Akihabara since I was a junior high school student. I had an event at this Akihabara location right after my debut, and it has become a very memorable place for me personally. I am very happy to see that Animate will be even more powerful than before," said Junnosuke Morita, manager of the Akihabara store, in his congratulatory speech. I want to take this grand opening as an opportunity to make the store even more enjoyable for all customers, not only local customers, but also overseas customers and tourists.

Natsuori Ishihara said that she used to come to Animate Akihabara with her friends to buy manga and other goods when she was in junior high school, and that she once held an event at the building before her major label debut. At the release event for her "Koi no Overtake" CD, she said, "It was my first release event, so I still have a great image of being very nervous. Thankfully, I think I was allowed to sing there as well. In that sense, I was able to do and learn a lot here, and I have a very strong impression of the bridge that was built between me and my fans," she said.

When asked what she would like to do at animate in the future, Ishihara replied, "I debuted in junior high school, so I have never had a part-time job. I am interested in working at the cash register, so I would like to try a "one-day part-time job." She then told all anime and game fans, "If you come to animate, you can get anything you want from your favorite works [it's like a dream place]. If you are interested in this work, please come to animate first. I personally think it is a place where you can spend a full day, so please try to make many memories at Animate," he concluded the event.


The store opened at 11:00 a.m. and was crowded with many customers.
