Jiro-inspired ramen restaurant "Ore no Ikiru Michi Ueno" has been in business since May 3!

Jiro-inspired ramen restaurant "Ore no Ikiru Michi Ueno" is now open for business since May 3 (Wed., national holiday). It is located next to the long-established western-style restaurant "Ponta Honke" in the Ueno-Hirokoji area, on the former site of "Curry is a Drink," which closed in January 2023. Okachimachi branch, which closed in January 2023.

Ore no Ikiru-michi is a Jiro-inspired ramen restaurant. The restaurant's ramen is a combination of thick tonkotsu (pork bone) broth from which the flavor and nutrients of pork bones and vegetables are extracted, homemade noodles made with the finest ingredients and methods, and thick, chewy pork chashu (pork cutlet) stewed in the thick tonkotsu broth. The customer is asked for his/her choice of free toppings just before the dish is served. The normal toppings (no call) are normal vegetables, no garlic, and normal oil, so those who wish to change their preferences need to let the restaurant know what they want.
