Kana Hanazawa and Jun Fukuyama will appear in the summer anime "AYAKA! Character PV of "Shu & Ibarra & Mokuita" is also released!

The new cast of the original anime "AYAKA," which will start airing in July, has been determined. The video and comments were also released.

A completely new original anime "AYAKA" is produced by writer group GoRA and King Record. Set on the strange "Ayaka Island" inhabited by beings called "Mitama," the story depicts the sad yet beautiful bond between men with destiny on their shoulders and the relationships of partner, master and disciple, rival, and brother.

Kana Hanazawa and Jun Fukuyama are new cast members! Character PV of " Shu, Ibarra & Mokuida" released!

Following Yusho Kamimura, Takuatsu Terashima, Kosuke Toriumi and others, Kana Hanazawa and Jun Fukuyama have been newly cast.

Ms. Hanazawa plays Ibara Ichijo, the youngest member of Ayaka Security, an organization specializing in the extermination of aramitama. Despite her pretty appearance, she fights more valiantly than anyone else when aramitama appear.

Tahei Mokita, played by Mr. Fukuyama, is also a member of Ayaka Security. As the right-hand man of the head of the organization, Akemi Ibuki, he organizes the members, including Ibarra, who have their own unique characteristics. He is a cheerful, dynamic, yet attentive and mature man.

A character PV focusing on Ayaka Security, of which Ibuki is the director and Ibara and Mokuita are members, is also released.

It features plenty of new footage from the anime, including Ibuki casting spells and fighting Aramitama, Ibara confronting Aramitama head-on despite her pretty appearance, and Takigita saying, "It's our job from here on out" as he prepares to take up the fight.

Q1. Could you tell us what you felt about this work when you read the script?
I had already received detailed setting materials for the worldview and characters during the audition stage, so I was excited as I read it. I am anxious to see how the battle scenes will be visualized and how Yukito will grow up! Also, I want to be able to master "Ayakai"..!

Q2: Could you give us your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
Especially in the beginning, I have the impression that she is blunt and doesn't talk much, but that is just because she is not good at expressing her feelings and thoughts.

Q1: What was your impression of this film when you read the script?
Boy meets boy & boy meets girl & boy meets aramitama.
I would be very happy if you could watch the full-length anime to build up your impressions and impressions.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you are playing and your enthusiasm for the role?
My first impression was "What? This gangly macho guy!" I thought I got the character list wrong.
However, I was not trying to be a changeable character, but rather a fastball, so I did my best to make my performance the essence of the story.

<Synopsis
Sachito Yatsunagi is a boy who grew up in an orphanage on the mainland. One day, an unruly young man named Sagawa Tadayoshi, who claims to be his late father's apprentice, arrives and takes Sachito away to his hometown on the island of Ayagashima.
