The theme song for the second season of the TV anime "Jujutsu Kaisen," which will start airing in July, has been decided.

The dark fantasy comic "Jujutsu Kaisen" is serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" by Akutomi Shimodera. The story depicts the epic battle between the main character, Yujin Toraje, who has a "curse" on himself, and his friends from the Jujutsu Kaisen College of Technology.

The second season of the TV anime, "Kaitama/Tamaori" and "Shibuya Incident," which depicts Gojo and Natsuyui's days as a jutsu technical college, will be broadcast on 28 MBS/TBS affiliate stations nationwide from July 6, 2023, for two consecutive seasons. The theme song information for "Kaitama, Tamaori" has now been announced.

The opening theme song is "Ao no Sumika" by Kitanitatsuya. In addition to his activities as a singer-songwriter, Kitatatsuya is also known for providing songs to artists such as Ado and "Mafumafu", and his music videos on YouTube have received more than 1 billion views.

The ending theme is "Light" by Aoshi Sakiyama. Aoshi Sakiyama has sung theme songs for a wide variety of genres, including dramas and animations, and has collaborated with Yoshiki Mizuno (Ikimono-gakari) and Huiyi Ishizaki, among others.

Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga series by Akutomi Shimoji, serialized in Shueisha's "Weekly Shonen Jump" magazine.
The series, which began serialization in March 2018, depicts the struggle between a curse born from negative human emotions and a sorcerer who exorcises it through sorcery.

The first season of the TV anime was broadcast from October 2020 to March 2021 on the Mainichi Broadcasting System and TBS, and it was a huge hit not only in Japan but also around the world. On December 24 of the same year, "Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie," a prequel to the first season, was screened, creating a huge worldwide movement.

The second season, which is scheduled to air in 2023, will depict the story of Gojo Satoru and Natsuyui Suguru during their high school days in "Kaidama, Tamaori. The past of Gojo and Natsuyui's breakup, which was hinted at in the movie version, will finally be revealed.

On October 31, a "ledger" is suddenly lowered around Shibuya Station, which is bustling with people on Halloween, and a large number of civilians are trapped.
