The history of deformed robots of Sunrise brand works is before your eyes! The exhibition "The Big Attraction of Deformed Robots" starts on Tuesday, May 16!
The "Big Attraction of Deformed Robots" exhibition will be held from May 16 (Tuesday) to June 25 (Sunday), 2023, at the limited-time "Sunrise World TOKYO" store in the "Bandai Namco Cross Store Tokyo" experience-based retail facility in Ikebukuro, Tokyo.
Sunrise World TOKYO" is a limited time store where you can immerse yourself in the world view and history of many masterpieces that still shine brightly today, exhibiting about 300 carefully selected items including production materials of Sunrise brand works, related toys, figures and plastic models, and selling goods.

In addition to the permanent exhibition area, which can be viewed free of charge, there is a "Special Exhibition" area that changes its theme each period and features valuable production materials such as actual celluloid drawings and original reproductions, nostalgic items such as toys and program advertising posters from the time, and a photo spot. The second exhibition is the "Deformed Mecha" exhibition. The "Big Attractiveness of Deformed Robots" exhibition will be held as the second phase of this project.
This exhibition will feature "The Heroic Legend of Magus Wataru," which marks the 35th anniversary of its TV anime broadcast, as well as "Shippu! Iron Leaguer," "Haou Daikei Ryunite," and 10 other works featuring deformed robots created between 1983 and 2020. Toys and other goods carefully selected from a vast amount of materials, celluloid illustrations actually used in TV animation, original illustration reproductions, and panels introducing the works will be exhibited, and a photo spot with large banners of deformed robots will be set up.

Featuring 10 Sunrise brand works featuring deformed robots created between 1983 and 2020, the "Special Exhibition" will include approximately 260 items including toys carefully selected from a vast amount of materials, celluloid illustrations actually used in TV animation and other works, original illustration reproductions, and panels introducing the works, The exhibition will also feature a photo spot with large banners of deformed robots such as "Ryujinmaru".

Admission fee: 900 yen? Free admission for elementary school students and younger
Admission benefit: a miniature reproduction of an illustration of "Wataru: The Movie God of Heroes" by animator Satoshi Koike (one of a kind).
