Advance play report on the new "Fall Guys Creative" feature being implemented in "Fall Guys"! Create your own courses by placing a variety of objects!
The party royale game "Fall Guys, " currently available for PS4/PS5/Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/PC, today launched a new creation feature called " Fall Guys Creative. This feature allows players to freely create their own courses, similar to those in the game, and share their creations with other players.
We had a chance to play with the new "Create" feature and here is our report on how it went.

To start Fall Guys Creative Mode, first select the wrench symbol from the above items in the main menu of "Fall Guys. You will then be presented with two options, "Create New" and "Load," and you can choose to create a new one. Although we were not able to play the game this time because it was locked, it seemed that there were several other modes and themes other than racing.
The initial screen at the start of the game is empty except for the background, but from there, the player can place various objects to create a course. As long as you have prepared the objects that are essential to creating a course, such as the starting point and goal, the rest is up to you.
The thickness and area of the floor can be adjusted to create squares, rectangles to create pathways, and so on. Then, a door with a mixture of dummies and real ones is placed, and finally, a goal is placed behind it with a spinning hammer and a repulsive stick.
The above configuration is easy to complete, taking only a dozen or so minutes. Although the quality may be poor, I personally think it is better to start with a simple structure like this, because it is often difficult to finish if you try to elaborate from the beginning.
Objects can be individually configured with detailed settings. For the aforementioned door object, you can set the number of doors to be installed and the number of doors that will open within the object. There are many variations, such as the speed at which a hammer spins if it is a spinning hammer, or the strength with which a repelling stick will repel a player who comes into contact with it.
In addition, the height and angle of objects can be adjusted. In the case of a door, if it is placed horizontally, it can be used as a trapdoor, while if it is placed vertically, it can become an obstacle for the player. By combining individual settings, heights and angles, objects can be given a variety of roles, so the more you play the course and learn more about it, the more you will be able to do.
On the other hand, there are some limitations. For one thing, if objects are too close to each other, they will interfere with each other and cannot be placed. This may not be obvious when placing simple objects such as squares or triangles, but when placing multiple balloons, such as a cannon suspended from a balloon, for example, care must be taken to ensure that balloons larger than the cannon do not come into contact with each other.
Second, each object has a cost. It is necessary to adjust the total cost of the placed objects to be less than 1000. Since the cost of each object is different, some people may be able to fit well within the limit, while others may be overflowing. This will depend on the configuration of the course.
The tools are simplified, and deforming an object is done not by entering numerical values, but by selecting a special icon and operating it with a stick, similar to drag-and-drop operations on a personal computer.
The settings screen for each object are also divided into separate items, and thanks to the ability to return to the original state after each action, there is no problem even if an object is accidentally deleted. In addition, you can test the course you have created at any time. I spent a couple of hours creating the course this time and found that it took only the first time I used the creative function, but the rest of the process was smooth.
The finished course created by the author. The theme of the course is "conflict," and it consists of two routes: a route that is difficult but short distance to the goal, and a route that is easy but requires a detour.
It is important to keep in mind that the viewpoints during production and testing are different. The viewpoint during production is a bird's eye view, so the screen is slightly pulled back. On the other hand, during testing, the viewpoint is from the character's back. The distance from which the course is viewed is completely different between the two, so in many cases, what I thought was a perfect size during production turned out to be larger than I imagined when I actually played the game. Therefore, it may be a good idea to make the course a little smaller during creation.
When you play the created course in the test play, a 16-digit "sharing code" is issued. By sharing this code with your friends and the "Fall Guys" community, you can let others play your course. The courses that are open to the public will be posted on a dedicated page, and the management may pick up courses that are of high quality or that have been played a lot.
The creative function is simple and easy to use for those who are not familiar with game creation, and the ability to apply the function of objects by adjusting their angles and positions gives the impression that the game can be played for quite a long time. Currently, "Fall Guys" has more than 50 million players, and if a creative function that allows volunteers to freely create their own courses is added to the game, its popularity is likely to accelerate even further.
