With the addition of the "Sky Island" floating in the sky, the stage for adventure becomes even wider!

The stage for this title is a vast land called Hyrule. In the previous title, the land was plunged into an unprecedented crisis caused by the evil Ganon, but peace has been restored thanks to the hero Link. From the trailer, it appears that the reconstruction of Hyrule is progressing, with tents set up in the plaza of Hyrule Castle and several other locations.

The previous "BotW" game, which was characterized by a high degree of freedom to go anywhere you want at any time on a vast field, as well as a realistic feeling and atmosphere as if the world of Hyrule really existed, was labeled "open air," rather than open world. Inheriting this open-air style, the Hyrule depicted in this game has a new field called "Sky Island.

It is unclear how the Sky Island appeared, but according to a video of Aonuma, the producer of this title, it can be explored freely, just like the land of Hyrule. Ruins are scattered here and there, and there are new enemies called "golems. This alone is worth exploring, but like the previous title, the land is also spread out in this title. If we can freely explore the land and the sky, the volume of the game is likely to be quite large.

Link and other characters who have grown up over the course of the previous game will appear again!

Link will continue to be the main character in "TotK" as he was in the previous title. In the previous title, Link awoke from a 100-year sleep and fought to save Hyrule from the evil Ganon. In the trailer for the sequel, "TotK," his right arm has been eroded by something, suggesting new difficulties that will befall him. In addition, it appears that Princess Zelda, who guided Link behind the scenes in the previous game, will also make an appearance.

It was also revealed that Cid, Tuli, and Rouge will appear in the game, all three of whom also appeared in the previous game, and that Tuli and Rouge's grown-up versions are currently being shown on the official Twitter account. Cid's full body is also posted, but his body does not appear to have changed that much. This may be due to the fact that he is from the Zora tribe, which has a long life span. The trailer also shows a scene in which the three of them fight together with Link, which makes the development of the storyline very interesting.

Also indispensable is Ganondorf. Ganondorf is the nemesis of the "Legend of Zelda" series, and in this title, he is back. Ganon, the villain of the series, was supposedly defeated by Link in the previous title, but there are many mysteries as to why he was resurrected and whether there is any connection between Ganon and Ganondorf in the first place.

New items have been added to the game, and the scope of the strategy is wider!

The "Seeker Items" in the previous title, such as the "Magne Catch," which can move metal objects, and the "Ice Maker," which can create pillars of ice from water, allow players to find their own strategies in various aspects, from solving dungeon puzzles to battles with enemies. TotK" was a game in which all of these items were completely renewed. In TotK, all of these items have been completely redesigned, and while it is not known if the Seeker items will continue to be used, at least four new items will be introduced.

The first is the Modreco. It has the ability to rewind time for a selected object. For example, a falling rock can be used as an elevator, as it will float backwards when the Modreco is used. It can also be used as a means of bouncing back enemy attacks, and the range of applications seems to be quite broad.

The second item is the "scrub build," which combines two objects to create something new, such as a hammer with a tree branch and a rock, or a spear with a very long handle with a stick and a fork. In the video clip shown, an arrow is shot at a bird flying in the sky, and the arrow curves around it as it travels.

The third is "Ultra Hand," which has the effect of attaching multiple objects together. Logs can be joined together to form a raft, and rotating wings can be added to give it propulsion, and a variety of other things can be created depending on the combination.

The fourth is the "tore-roof. It has the power to penetrate any place with a ceiling. This is especially useful when taking shortcuts, as it eliminates the need to find a climbing route when aiming for the top of a mountain.

The sequel, "TotK," is highly anticipated both at home and abroad, as its predecessor sold close to 30 million copies worldwide. The full story will soon be revealed.
