The new series "Mugen Encounter Megalomaria" starts to decorate Kotobukiya's 70th anniversary! Kotobukiya's New Plastic Model Collection Part 1 [Special Feature at the 61st Shizuoka Hobby Show]!

The 61st Shizuoka Hobby Show is being held at Twinmesse Shizuoka in Shizuoka Prefecture from May 10 (Wed) to 14 (Sun), 2023.

This event is one of the largest model and hobby events in Japan, held annually in Shizuoka Prefecture, where many model manufacturers gather. This year, a total of 95 companies and 2 organizations exhibited, far exceeding last year's event.
This year, the 10th and 11th are vendor invitation days, and the 12th is an invitation day for local elementary, junior high, and high school students to familiarize themselves with the modeling culture. The 13th and 14th are open to the public( registration for the open days is closed).

In this issue, we will summarize the new series "Mugen KAIKOU Megalo Maria" that Kotobukiya, a long-established manufacturer, unveiled at the event!
This series, which marks Kotobukiya's 70th anniversary, will be the company's first series to focus on domestic production, and will condense the know-how of the original titles "M.S.G.", "Hexagear", and "Sosai Shoujo Teien". The new series will feature the "Marionette Style," a new body design that focuses on "mobility" and "performance.
The new series will also be linked to the world view of "Sosai Shoujo Teien," so we will have to keep an eye on the future development of this series.

Let's start with the first series, "Principal," scheduled for release in 2024!
