The 61st Shizuoka Hobby Show is being held at Twinmesse Shizuoka in Shizuoka Prefecture from May 10 (Wed) to 14 (Sun), 2023.

This event is one of the largest model and hobby events in Japan, held annually in Shizuoka Prefecture, where many model manufacturers gather. This year, a total of 95 companies and 2 organizations exhibited, far exceeding last year's event.
This year, the 10th and 11th are vendor invitation days, and the 12th is an invitation day for local elementary, junior high, and high school students to familiarize themselves with the modeling culture. The 13th and 14th are open to the public( registration for the open days has closed).

In this issue, we will introduce the new ARTPLA, a series of plastic kits with fixed poses released by the long-established manufacturer KAIYODO!
The two "Evangelion" items that caught our attention were the ones that combine creatures, mechanisms, and posing at a high level. Many people stopped to admire the majesty of these items.
