Spring Anime "Jigokuraku" Junichi Suwabe and Yuko Kaita play "7 Tensen" in different roles! Scene cuttings from episode 7 also released!

Three new cast members, characters, and scene cuts from the seventh episode of the TV anime "Jigokuraku" have been revealed.

Based on a popular manga series (13 volumes) serialized in "Shonen Jump+" by Yuji Garai, "Jigokuraku" is an emotional manga. The strongest Shinobi, Gabaimaru, and other deadly criminals fight for a certain purpose on an island infested with unknown creatures, together with the "executioner of beheadings," who acts as their watchdog. MAPPA is in charge of animation production.

On May 13 (Sat), episode 7 of the TV anime "Jigokuraku" aired. It was revealed that Junichi Suwabe and Yuko Kaita play "Tensen" and Yoshimi Obara plays "Mei".

The synopsis and scene cuts are also introduced, along with character set pictures and cast comments.

Three new cast members and characters were announced!

The Tensen characters, who appeared in episode 7, are the ones who stand in front of the main character, Gebaimaru, and his friends, and they all have the same appearance and voice. In the anime, Suwabe-san and Kaita-san play the roles of the "seven Tensen".

Yoshimi Obara plays Mei, the mysterious girl whom Gabaimaru and his friends encounter in Shinzenkyo.

How will that world of "Jigokuraku" be expressed in the anime? I am very much looking forward to it. My role in this work is ...... surprising, isn't it? I am surprised too. I will do my best to stand in front of the dead criminals and Asaemon and the others!

I was so fascinated by the original work that I read all the volumes at once! There are seven Tensen-sama, but who are they? I wondered who they were, and then I found out that they were all Tensen-sama! It is true that it says "the same voice".... I would like to play the role while feeling the feelings that each of them has accumulated over the past 1,000 years.

Episode 7 "Flowers and Sacrifice

A mysterious girl, Mei, and a woodman take Gabaimaru, Sagiri, and the others to a village. Kijin tells them about the existence of the "Tensen-sama," a hermit who rules the island.
The Tensen's power beyond human control causes Mukibei and Kirima to collapse and fall into a deep hole.

＜Synopsis
The time is the end of the Edo period.
Gebaimaru, formerly the strongest Shinobi in Ishikakure, is taken prisoner as a loose Ninja and becomes a mortal criminal,
He is told that he will be exonerated if he brings back "the elixir of immortality" from an island rumored to be the paradise of the Pure Land.
In order to reunite with his beloved wife, Gabaimaru heads for the island where the elixir is said to be located, together with the beheading executioner "Yamada Asaemon Sagiri".
When they land on the island, they are confronted by a group of dead criminals who are also in search of the elixir.
They are also confronted by unknown creatures lurking on the island, artificial and eerie stone statues, and the Immortals who rule the island. ......
