HG "YF-29 Durandal Valkyrie (Alto Saotome)" take-off! In addition, plans are underway for the famous aircraft that will appear in the "Macross Plus" series! The 61st Shizuoka Hobby Show

The 61st Shizuoka Hobby Show was held at Twinmesse Shizuoka in Shizuoka Prefecture from May 10 (Wed) to 14 (Sun), 2023.

This event is one of the largest model and hobby events in Japan, held annually in Shizuoka Prefecture, where many model manufacturers gather. This year, a total of 95 companies and 2 organizations exhibited, far more than last year.
This year, the 10th and 11th were vendor invitation days, and the 12th was an invitation day for local elementary, junior high, and high school students to familiarize themselves with modeling culture. The 13th and 14th were open to the public.

In this issue, we will introduce Macross kits that were exhibited at the BANDAI SPIRITS booth!


HG1/100 YF-29 Durandal Valkyrie (Alto Saotome aircraft) / on sale in August 2023 / 4,400 yen (tax included)

The aircraft of the main character, Alto Saotome, which appeared in "Macross Frontier the Movie: Sayonara no Tsubasa", will be made into a plastic model as a HG!

Like the YF19, the YF-29 Durandal Valkyrie can be transformed into a battroid, fighter, and ghawk form.

The Super Pack will also be sold separately.

Furthermore, the YF-22 that appeared in "Macross Plus" is also being planned to be made into a plastic model...? Stay tuned for further announcements!
