V-Cinext's "Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger de Goshutte 20th anniversary," which will be screened for a limited time starting June 16, 2023, held a completion announcement stage greeting today, May 17 (Wed.)! Shushutto 20th anniversary" was held today, May 17 (Wed.).

Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger" is a special effects TV drama series produced by Toei that aired from February 17, 2002, to February 9, 2003, on the TV Asahi network. The catchphrase of the series is "Unaware of mankind, unaware of the world, we become shadows and strike down evil! In 2013, a V-cinema sequel "Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger: 10 YEARS AFTER" was produced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the end of the program. 20 years have passed since the TV series, 10 years since 10 YEARS AFTER, and a new original "Hurricaneger" work was born on the 20th anniversary.

The completion announcement stage greeting was held today, May 17 (Wed.), with Shun Shioya playing Takasuke Shiina (Hurricane Red), Nao Nagasawa playing Nanami Nono (Hurricane Blue), Kohei Yamamoto playing Howata Oto (Hurricane Yellow), Yujiro Shirakawa playing Kasumi Ikko (Kabutrager), and Nobuo Kang playing Kasumi Ikko (Kuwagaraiger). They talked about the joy of completing this new film, which celebrated its 20th anniversary and was completely revived as a new movie, since they were involved in the project from the planning stage, as well as the highlights of the film, which was shot entirely in Kyoto for the first time.

Shun Shioya, Nao Nagasawa, Kohei Yamamoto, Yujiro Shirakawa, and Nobuo Kang took the stage at the completion announcement stage greeting held at Shinjuku Wald 9.

They greeted the audience one by one.

Shioya said, "I'm so happy. I am back with a shuffle! We really went through a lot of hardships, and those of you here are the first people to see it! (I am so happy that you could see me. Nagasawa said, "Thank you for coming on a weekday at this time," and Yamamoto said, "Please enjoy the show! Shirakawa said, "There were so many penlights! Shirakawa said, "So many penlights!" The audience laughed, "This is not a Junryoku concert," and Kang said, "Last year, I was here for the movie "Ryotaro Sentai Don Brothers The Movie: New First Love Hero," but there is something I couldn't say. I am Nobuo Kang, playing the role of Kasumi Ikko/Kabutraija," he said, proudly returning to Balto 9.

When the MC asked, "How was it? Shioya emphasized that he had enjoyed the filming, saying, "It was a lot of hard work, but it was really fun, like a summer vacation for adults. Shirakawa followed up by saying, "That's because you have a strong emotional attachment to it.

When asked about episodes during the filming of the movie, which was shot entirely in Kyoto, Jiang said, "I often use Kyoto for work, but I was happy to be able to shoot a Super Sentai movie in Kyoto," and Shioya added, "I used to live in Kyoto, and I think (this movie) is a modern version of a ninja movie. I was happy to be able to shoot in Kyoto because I used to live in Kyoto and I think (this film) is a modern version of ninja. I think there are fewer ninjas and period dramas, so I would be happy if more people want to become ninjas or think Kyoto is wonderful because of Hurricaneger as a pioneer in this era.
Yamamoto couldn't help but comment, "You are so passionate! He is indeed Red.

When asked how she felt about the song "Ninja Love," which Nagasawa sings in kimono during the filming, Nagasawa replied, "It felt good to sing it at a temple in Kyoto," and Shioya continued, "The clothes and wigs helped me a lot during the shoot. It is rare to see men in red kimonos, so the Kyoto costume designers did a great job.

Shiotani said, "Nao said it was like a dream on the first day of filming, and Yujiro said he was relieved to be able to act after a long time because he sings every day. When asked how he felt about the action, Jiang said, "It was scary," as there was a scene where he jumped from a high place. Shirakawa also revealed that her big stand-up routine was shot in a single cut, and Shirakawa told the audience that she was particular about the shooting, saying, "Under the direction of action director Takeda, I asked each of the actors to make a stand-up routine.
Nagasawa also talked about her water surface running. "Twenty years later, a crane truck came to Kyoto, and I was excited that I was going to be caught, but because I am a water ninja, my water surface running came true and we started shooting in the morning at the pond in the Film Village. I was so excited that I was going to be able to catch a crane because it was a 20-year-old Kyoto crane.

It was a birth pang, or rather, these five of us, each as an actor and singer, all of us had to work hard in our own lives, think of projects, and do both front and backstage appearances to make this Super Sentai V-Cinext. Even so, we were able to complete the 10th anniversary, and the 20th anniversary was even more difficult, and many times I was asked by the producer what was the point of doing the 20th anniversary. And then the Corona disaster happened, and there were many times when I wondered if we could really make it in this environment. But because of the Corona disaster and the difficult situation in the world, I thought that a hero was necessary and wanted the world to see it, so we were able to shoot in Kyoto. It gives people a chance to know about historical dramas, Japanese harmony, and culture. The five of us, the staff, and new people like Yozuki and Hasegawa breathed new tastes and life into this new film. <Story
The time is the Edo period, and Takanosuke (Shun Shioya), Nami (Nao Nagasawa), and Rautaro (Kohei Yamamoto), ninjas of the Shippu school under MUGENSAI (Ken Nishida), and Ikkaku (Yujiro Shirakawa) and Ikka (Nobuo Kang) of the Xunrai school are confronted by Oiranda and Aunja of the "Ura Seven Spears". Teruhime (Nagi Hasegawa), whom they are guarding, is attacked. They are after the "Tenshoishi," a stone said to be able to destroy the world, which is in Teruhime's possession. Just when it seems all is lost, the Hurricanes and the Gouraigers, sent out by Oboro (Seiko Takada) and her assistant, Kumoizaka (Hazuki Kimura), suddenly appear and a fierce battle ensues. The Hurricanes slip back in time from the present day to the Edo period and rescue Takanosuke and the others, but their time in the past is limited, so they return to the present day to grant Takanosuke and the others their wish.
