Di Techno, Inc. released the application contents of "Toaru Kagaku no Railgun Toushin Monogatari (Spectral Story)" smartphone app on Thursday, December 19, 2019.

The light novel "To Aru Majutsu no Index" was published in 2004 by Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA ASCII Media Works). The "Toaru~" series, which began with this work, was first adapted into a comic book in 2007, followed by the first TV anime in 2008, and then the second TV anime season in 2010. Toaru Kagaku no Railgun" (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun), an offshoot of this work, is also a popular work that has been animated for two seasons of four-court TV animation plus one volume of OVA.
