To coincide with the release of "Jet-Black Villains," the "CHOOSE YOUR LIFE #Heroine #Youth #Partner #Adventurer" episode, the third in the "CHOOSE YOUR LIFE" series of TV commercials depicting the world of FF14 through a variety of animations, has also begun airing.

This TV commercial is a sequel to FF14's first animated commercial series "CHOOSE YOUR LIFE," which began airing on Saturday, June 22, 2019. The TV commercial is directed by Kitaro Kosaka and Yuhei Sakuragi, who continue to lead the Japanese anime scene. The following is a list of the narrators of the TV commercials.

The following are comments from the narrators, Kana Ueda and Kento Ito.

Kana Ueda

I participated in the recording of a game commercial without knowing the script or even the title, but the moment I saw the character in the studio, I thought, "This is me. I had only been playing FF14 for about two months. And the reason I started was because I wanted to play doma-style mahjong, which is an unbelievable motive for an adventurer, so in a way, I am probably a very "you-like-you" protagonist (laughs). My favorite scene is when the two of them set off on the chocobo. My friend who happened to be playing with me the night before the recording had the same chocobo, and when I said, "I love the idea of two people riding on a chocobo," he said I could have it if I played Eternal Band. Unlike in the film, these women are men, and it seems that they are friends with each other (laugh), but I may meet such a wonderful partner someday!

Kento Ito

As a Final Fantasy fan and a traveler in Eorzea, I was really looking forward to this job. To boost my spirits, I was listening to the main theme song from the Final Fantasy series as I moved around right before recording (laughs). (Laughs.) We were able to record the conversation, which I appreciated and enjoyed. We were able to talk a lot about the game while we were waiting, and we were able to think about the characters' personalities and relationships with Mr. Ueda and the staff. Thanks to that, I feel like I was able to run through a dense time as the main character of this commercial, who would be a game enthusiast. It is only a small part of his life, though! I personally love the scene where he jumps from the real world to the game world. There is a sense of elation when you start up a game or log in, and I think the commercial conveys that feeling as well.
