TV anime "Shokugeki no soma Go no sara" to air from April 2020! The teaser visual is also unveiled for the first time!

The TV anime "Shokugeki no Soma Shin no Sarara" is currently airing on TOKYO MX and other stations and will reach its final episode next week on December 27, 2019. It has been decided that the sequel, the 5th season of the TV anime "Shokugeki no soma Gou no sara" will start airing in April 2020. In addition, a teaser visual has been released.

Shokugeki no Soma" is an anime work based on a manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (original story: Yuto Tsukita, Shun Saeki, cooperation: Tomonori Morisaki). Set in a prestigious culinary school, it depicts the struggles of the main character, the son of a popular diner. The original story is based on the cooking ideas of Yuki Morisaki, a well-known cookery researcher who is too beautiful to be ignored, and features sexy tasting reactions of the female characters. The story depicts a cooking competition called "Shokugeki" from various perspectives, in which the main character, Souma Kouhei, grows through the "Shokugeki.
The anime version is directed by Yoshitomo Yonetani of the "TIGER & BUNNY the Movie" series, with series composition by Shogo Yaskawa of "Terraformers" fame, character design by Tomoyuki Shimotani of the "Bakuman. series, character design by Tomoyuki Shimotani, and animation production by J.C. STAFF.
