A teaser visual from the upcoming TV anime adaptation of "Jujutsu Kaisen" has been released, and it was also announced that Yuichi Nakamura will be playing the role of Satoru Gojyo, a teacher and special class spellcaster at the "Tokyo Metropolitan College of Witchcraft and Wizardry".

Jujutsu Kaisen is a manga by Akutami Gage that began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in issue 14, 2018. The first comic volume was released in July 2018 and is currently in its seventh volume. Eugene Toraje, a high school student with exceptional physical abilities, makes it a daily routine to visit his grandfather, who is lying in bed ill. One day, the seal of a "cursed object" lying dormant at school is broken, and a monster appears. In order to save the stranded senpai, Torajo rushes into the school building, but...? A TV anime adaptation of the story has been decided.

The teaser visual of the work was unveiled at "Jump Festa 2020" held at Makuhari Messe on December 21 (Sat.) and 22 (Sun.), 2019.

On December 22 (Sun.), the "Jujutsu Kaisen" event stage was held at the Jump Super Stage of "Jump Festa 2020" at Makuhari Messe. Guests including Junya Enoki (Yujin Toraje), Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushikuro), and Masami Seto (Novala Kugisaki) took the stage and were greeted with loud cheers.

In the corner titled "Jujutsu Kaisen" Anime Adaptation Special, a further major announcement was made regarding the just-announced anime adaptation of this work. It was announced that Yuichi Nakamura would be playing the role of Satoru Gojo, a special class magician at the Jujutsu Kaisen, where the three main characters are enrolled, and Nakamura took the stage as a secret guest.
