The "Book Lover's Daughter" to begin airing in Fall 2019, "I Can't Choose the Means to Become a Librarian" reveals key visual & additional cast members!

The key visual and additional cast members have been revealed from the TV anime "Hon-kiha no Gekkoukoujo: I Can't Choose My Means to Become a Librarian," which is scheduled to begin airing in October 2019.

The novel "Honkaku no Gekkoukoujou: To Become a Librarian, You Can't Choose Your Means" is a novel by Kouzuki Miya, currently being published by TO Books. The series has sold more than 1 million copies and was named "This Light Novel is Amazing!" (Takarajimasya, Inc.) No. 1 in 2018 and 2019 for two consecutive years (in the book and novels category). A college girl who died just before becoming a librarian wakes up as Mine, a soldier's daughter, in a medieval European-style other world. She wants to read books, but they are a luxury that the average person cannot afford. If you don't have books, make your own! She struggles with an environment that does not go her way, but decides to make use of her knowledge from a previous life to create a "book" with her own hands and presses on toward her dream. It is a Biblia fantasy for book lovers, dedicated to book lovers.
The TV anime adaptation will be directed by Mitsuru Hongo, with Yoshiki Kawasaki as assistant director, Mariko Kunisawa as series composition, Yoshiaki Yanagida and Toshihisa Kaitani as character designers, and Asia-do as animation production company.

The key visual has been released.
The visual depicts the main character Mine and the main characters surrounding Mine, and raises expectations for the Biblia fantasy in which Mine decides to create "books" with her own hands in a world where books are hard to come by, and pursues her dream.

Additional cast members have also been announced.
Benno, the owner of Gilberta, will be played by Takehito Koyasu, Günther's subordinate Otto by Satoshi Hino, Benno's right-hand man Marc by Tomoaki Maeno, and Frieda, the granddaughter of Gustav, the guild leader, by Aya Uchida. Comments from the cast have also been received.

＜Introduction
