From "Detective Conan," a special story to be broadcast for four consecutive weeks in January 2020, a completion preview and mystery solving event will be held at the new Yomiuri TV building.

Nippei TV, the symbol of Osaka, has been the setting for numerous incidents in the world of "Detective Conan," including the movie version of "Detective Conan: Karaben no Koiga" released in 2017. The new Yomiuri TV building, which is the model for the new building, opened on September 1, 2019, and it has been decided that a four-week special story set in the new Nippei TV building will be aired in January 2020.

To commemorate the broadcast, a completion announcement preview and mystery-solving event will be held at the new Yomiuri Television (YTV) building, where the story takes place.
The completion announcement preview will be held at the new Yomiuri TV building, and 100 pairs of 200 people will be invited from among those who have applied through the special site on the Yomiuri TV website. Applications will be accepted from today, December 21 (Sat.).

The mystery-solving event "Solve the mystery of Nippei TV's new building! will be held from January 4 (Sat) to 13 (Mon), 2020. We hope you will enjoy the event along with the special story broadcast and the pilgrimage to the holy place.

Conan and his friends are invited to the production presentation of "Daikaiju Gomera vs. Masked Yaibaru," a movie commemorating the completion of the new building, and come to Nippei TV in Osaka. During the presentation, Yonekura, a talented producer, is pinned under a huge monster figure in a warehouse and dies. The rope holding the figure was cut with a knife, and Inspector Otaki of the Osaka Prefectural Police proceeds to investigate the incident as a crime rather than an accident. The suspects are narrowed down to Kosugi, Mihara, and Takauchi, three producers under Yonekura's command...
