The "Demon King, Retry! is a light novel by Kuroon Kanzaki that has been published on the web novel submission site "Shosetsu-ka-ro" and has a total PV of over 63 million. It is a popular work that won the Gold Prize at the 5th Internet Novel Award. It is a fantasy about an ordinary working man who is sent to another world as the "Demon King," the most powerful character in a game he runs, and is misunderstood by ordinary people. Currently, it is published in "Monster Bunko" (Futabasha), and a comic book version is being developed in "Monster Comics," a comic book label of the same bunko. The "Maou-sama, Retry!" which will start airing from July 3, 2019 on TOKYO MX, BS Fuji, etc. held an advance screening of episodes 1 and 2 at United Cinema Toyosu on June 16. Ishihara added, "She is a girl with a strong side who is always looking forward despite being hurt, and I really want to root for her when I watch her. Also, after watching episodes 1 and 2 again, I think Aku-chan is surprisingly the most decent one (laughs)," she said, drawing laughter from the audience.

Luna Elegant, who appears in the second episode, is the third daughter of the "Three Saints. She is a character with outstanding magical talent, but also has a very selfish personality. Ishihara said that she was able to discover charms of Luna in the anime adaptation that she had not noticed in the original work. She also said that her selfishness was interesting to play.

Watching Luna, who repeatedly stands up to Kyuunouchi, only to be beaten back or talked down, Takao smiled mischievously and said, "I can understand why the Demon Lord would want to bully her! Takao smiled mischievously.

Ishihara, who plays the role of Luna and is also the theme song artist for the film, also spoke about his thoughts on the OP "TEMPEST. The intro of the song is a bit mysterious and has a dark atmosphere, like the image of the demon king walking towards you. The lyrics of the song are also in sync with the story, as Aku-chan, Luna-chan, and other characters are drawn to the Demon Lord in the story.
