Works from Selamun, Rayearth, Saint's Tale, and more! Kodansha's "Nakayoshi" 65th Anniversary Original Art Exhibition will be held!
Kodansha's "Nakayoshi," which was first published in 1954 and is celebrating its 65th anniversary, will hold a commemorative exhibition of original artwork.
Launched in 1954, the January 2020 issue of "Nakayoshi" will mark its 65th anniversary.
The exhibition will be held to commemorate the 65th anniversary of "Nakayoshi," which has the longest history of any existing manga magazine in Japan.
The exhibition will feature original artwork from Osamu Tezuka's "Ribbon Knight," Suzue Minai's "Yoki Hiden," Yu Asagiri's "Nana-iro Magic," Naoko Takeuchi's "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon," Nekobe Neko's "Kinkyou Beware! by CLAMP, "Magic Knight Rayearth", "Card Captor Sakura Clear Card Arc", "Shuga Sugaroon" by Moyoco Anno, PEACH-PIT's "Shugo Chara! and many other masterpieces, will be exhibited.
(*The "塚" in Osamu Tezuka's name is the correct old Chinese character with a dot.)
) There will also be a special memorial corner for Yu Asagiri, who passed away last year.
In addition, nostalgic appendices such as "Saint's Tale" by Megumi Tachikawa and "Tokyo Mew Mew Mew" by Reiko Yoshida with scenario by Mia Seikai will also be on display.
There will also be an exhibition corner introducing current "Nakayoshi" serials such as "Pretty Cure Series" written by Futago Kamikita and Izumi Todo.
A special catalogue containing the original drawings exhibited at the exhibition is scheduled to be released around September 2019, so those who cannot make it to the venue are encouraged to check it out.

The exhibition will be held in three phases (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), andonly the original paintings will be changed.
