Did you know that some local governments are offering "anime goods" as a Furusato tax return gift?

Akiba Research Institute has covered the news of collaboration between anime and Furusato tax several times in the past, but the deadline for this year is finally approaching, as the only Furusato tax payments eligible for deductions in 2019 are those whose receipt date (payment date) is by December 31, 2019, as indicated on the receipt certificate.
